Name: Tamara Belmonte
Nickname(s): Tammy
Status: Jr. Agent
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: Italian
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 170 lb.
Religious Beliefs: Catholic
Sexual Orientation: Straight

Appearance: Tammy sticks out, with her short, messily cropped dark brown hair, narrow brown eyes, olive skin tone and tall, athletic frame without much in the way of curves and a lot more in the way of muscle. Her face is round, with a pointed chin, a thin mouth and a pointed nose. She’s not extraordinarily attractive, but does have a touch of what might be considered exotic beauty. As far as clothes, Tammy has next to no interest in fashion. She is usually seen wearing a gray hoodie with jeans and well-worn sneakers.

Personality: Tammy is an enthusiastic person with high energy, as well as being a bit of an adrenaline junkie. She’s a thrill seeker to the end. Tammy is energetic, spontaneous and passionate, but can also be a hothead and bullheaded. She can occasionally be prone to pessimism, but doesn’t usually let this show. She’s occasionally overconfident, and can come across as cocky.

Interests: Cooking, amateur boxing (she’s primarily a brawler), taekwondo, music (especially hard rock and punk) and sketching.

Skills: Tammy has proficiency in a couple of combat styles, making her a formidable melee combatant. She’s naturally athletic, and her martial arts has given her excellent endurance and strength. Tammy is strong-willed and stubborn to a fault, which can make her a frightening opponent.

Abilities/Powers: Copycat: Tammy possesses an unusual form of illusions. She can, in essence, create a copy of herself out of force, leaving a a grayscale afterimage when she does so. The copy lasts for about a second at most, but is solid. Tammy cannot make more than one copy at once; creating one takes little effort on her part, but repeated copies over a period of time can drain her stamina quickly, and rapidly creating copies immediately after their destruction is challenging and exhausting.

his copy serves a few functions; primarily, Tammy can 'leave behind' a copy of herself, that follows her motions with a slight delay or performs a simple programmed action such as walking or jumping. This copy is solid, but disperses immediately upon being struck. Basically, it can absorb a single strike. Additionally, Tammy can form a distorted copy of herself, a partial duplicate that lasts for only a split second but can perform unique functions, such as delivering an empowered strike with an exaggerated fist.

History: Tammy grew up in the poor parts of Chicago to Cheryl, her single mom and a waitress at a local bar. Tammy had it rough early on; she got into trouble from a young age, being prone to temper tantrums and getting into scraps with the other kids.

Tammy loved watching boxing on the old TV her mom owned, and quickly became interested in participating. By age nine, she took up taekwondo, the most available martial art since her mom was close friends with an instructor. She picked it up fast, becoming a skilled combatant, eventually becoming a second degree black belt by age 16.

Tammy fell into the wrong crowd in her early years, hanging out with troublemakers and getting involved in shoplifting, vandalism and other minor criminal activities. She thought it was all in good fun until she was 13, when an older student she knew got shot and killed trying to hold up a convenience store with a switchblade. Frightened, Tammy broke off ties with her old friends.

High school was better for Tammy. She made better choices, avoided troublesome people and worked harder at her sports, taking up boxing at a local gym where she became fairly well-known as a skilled fighter for her age. She got a scholarship at the Chicago Institute of Art based on her passion for drawing, which she had honed from youth.

Then her power manifested. While in the ring, Tammy badly injured another boxer, hospitalizing them with a devastating strike from her duplicated power. Shortly thereafter, the Academy approached her, and Tammy accepted.

Okay, a couple things.

First, that avatar does not look eighteen in the slightest. That's more of a personal issue, however.

Second, that power does not have a clear and defined weakness, and has the potential to snowball out of control. It either needs more clearly stated restrictions, or you need to choose another one. It's always good to pick a weaker version of a power to let it grow over time, than to pick a really strong power.

Other than that, this bio's mostly good to go, so PM me when you're fixed up, and I'll take a look at the bio again.
