Josh blinked, having been lost for a second, but then nodded. "Oh, uh, yeah! I'll follow you guys. I have no better idea what to do!" He laughed nervously and headed after the siblings.
Tammy felt blood leave her face. "Right, right, gotcha, thanks."
She turned back to the rest of the group, who seemed to be scattering. Well this was...problematic. They were proooobably in historical New Mexico, whenever that wasn't a state yet. Damn, she wished she'd paid more attention in class.
As the rest of the group went off, Tammy figured it'd be best to keep a low profile. Don't make any trouble or anything. So she quietly moved to the shade of a building and sat down as a rush of anxiety flooded her.
So that portal took them to what, somewhere from 1850 to 1912?
...Well, shit.
"Well, maybe not as lost as I thought, then." He chuckles to try to fight off the nerves. He'll have to check on the new girl, make sure she takes this okay. "Where's a good stop in town, for wayward travellers like ourselves? We should get the lie of the land, get our bearings."
Mikeal nodded to the stranger and ducked his head down pulling up the collar of the duster to cover as much of his face as possible. If the stranger hadn't left he would move over close enough to speak low enough for only him to hear.
"I seem to have gotten a bit lost. Where exactly am I? My eyes don't work as well as they used to."
