He is hard working and highly motivated to reach any goals he sets for himself. Roy is generally very kind, optimistic, and friendly to everyone he meets, occasionally to a fault. He can sometimes blabber and ramble on out of nervousness or excitement, depending on the subject matter. Roy tends to put others before himself in most situations. Despite being both smart and athletic, Roy often lacks self-assurance and on occasion suffers from self-doubt. This tends to set him back in his own ventures, but will not think twice if it involves helping someone else. High Learning Aptitude- while not a genius, Roy is a pretty smart kid and either knows the subject matter or can learn it quickly with some studying put in. Abilities/Powers: Miniaturization- Roy has the ability to shrink in size while maintaining the strength, speed, durability, etc. of his normal size. He's never shrank smaller than that of an ant as he is worried about shrinking out of existence or getting lost in the particles but in theory can reach subatomic levels. History: Roy was raised by a single mother as his parents never wed. He could count the amount of times he's seen his father on one hand and about half of those behind the glass window of a jail visiting room. Born a metahuman, Roy discovered his powers around the age of 10 when rather than growing, he began shrinking though his mother helped him figure out that this was by control and that metahuman abilities ran in the family. Still, Roy didn't even consider becoming a super hero until years later. He just tried to live a normal life. He and his mother moved around often, however, as their lives always became more difficult when it came out that his father was a convicted murderer. In attempts to make up for all the people his father had hurt, he attempted to improve the lives of as many people as he could. He volunteered often, raised a good amount of money for whatever charity, and typically just tried to do his best to be a good person. It wasn't until his later teenage years until he pieced it together that he could use his abilities to help a lot more people. Trying to carry the world on his shoulders was no new task for Roy, but he is nervous of the concept of trying to balance that weight on a subatomic set of shoulders.
