Nate stood there for a moment in sheer awe. Things were so much different between Paradigm and home. "So, other than sparing with sword arm, and talking to you, what should I be doing?" He asked following some of the clearly labeled signs toward the cafeteria.
"It's not so much that it's not my thing. I just don't really do the direct approach." He commented as he moved up to the counter.
"I think I could work well with others, after all, every Merlin needs an Arthur." Nate's approach to the idea wasn't negative, more as a supporting roll, rather than an in your face roll.
"The best deep dish you've got!" He asked the Robot.
"They aren't bad memories," Leif said with a simple shrug. Most people seemed to think that she was torn up about her brother's death, but the things she did helped to numb the pain. "My brother was an amazing man. I'm proud of him."
Nate smiled at that, really smiled toward his new friend. "I'm glad." He spoke gently.
Taking a bite of his pizza he shifted his focus again. "So you know what I can do with my little tricks, what about you?" He asked between tasty bites.
Instead of telling him, Leif figured she would show him. She lifted one hand and three knives appeared between her fingers, little glowing green scalpels. They were not detailed, but it was obvious what shape they were, and she held them tight between her fingers, looking like a tiny little Wolverine.
She tilted her head to one side at the weapons, reaching out with her free hand to prick her finger on the closest blade. It was mostly curiosity, but she didn't seem particularly fearful of them.
Of course, if something happened and she DID get hurt... Her blades could do some damage, and she was pretty damn good at aiming them. Especially close range.
Nate smiled and finished off his Pizza. "Come on then, don't wanna be late!" He chided playfully before jumping out of his chair, heading back the way they had come.
