Mark grunts, and he hunches forward, unable to land his headbutt.
At this point, however, he's starting to realize that he's not going to be able to help Rebecca with just regular training. As a result, he slides back, lifting his good leg in order to kick Rebecca away from him!
Rebecca's bites back a curse as she realizes she should have pressed the advantage when she had it and rushes him while the armor forms, hoping to do more damage before it's complete!
Rebecca continues to try to keep distance between them! Mostly until she can figure out how she wants to go about this. She pushes up the sleeves of her shirt to expose her forearms as well as part of her upper arms, finally falling into a defensive position and holding her ground instead of playing cat and mouse.
If this was a normal fight, he might've been somewhat frustrated, but this was a spar designed for Rebecca to learn. He was perfectly capable of going at her pace.
Once she finally stops, he swings in a right-handed straight for her face!
However, gripping Mark is almost the same as him gripping you, and Mark yanks on his arm to pull Rebecca towards him while thrusting his knee forward for her stomach!
Rebecca brings her other hand forward to try and block his knee! She tries to keep the rot going on with the knee, willing the rot to sprawl down his leg, which we will feel bad for if it's the same leg she was rotting earlier.
She lets go and, if he hasn't prevented her from doing so, takes a step back. Or stumbles, if his knee lands its hit..
Blocking the knee hurts her palm a little, but it's good enough to stop the knee from striking her more vulnerable ribs, and gives Rebecca a chance to back up.
There, she can see that the arm of the bone armor has almost completely rotted away, whereas there's a small rotted hand-print on Mark's knee.
