So this place was a super hero school or something right? Tilde leaned against the wall of the main building as she looked over the courtyard. In her hands was a phone. She was typing on said phone at a speed inhumanly possible. Tilde had barely stopped texting her normal friends back home since she left. The girl couldn't believe she had to move across the world because of something as weird as having acidic drool. She didn't want to be here, but her father insisted. 

Letting out an annoyed huff, Tilde moved to walk forward while texting. Her attention was locked on the phone, so when someone bumped into her, she was fairly surprised. Dropping her phone, Tilde turned and shot the other person a glare. The British girl narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms- clearly expecting the other person to pick up the phone.

"Oh my god! Watch where you're going! Ugh!"

Being one to have barely used her cell phone ever, Rebecca doesn't fully realize how engrossed an incoming petite blonde is until the young girl collides right into her.

Oh god, that tone. Wondering how the people she cared about our in Syria and beyond suddenly took a back seat as the dark haired agent raised a brow at the petulant little expectant tone.

"You should actually look up if you're going to tell other people to watch their step," she suggests in a mild tone that somehow still sounds irritated.

She doesn't even look at the dropped phone.

Tilde tilted her head in annoyance towards the older girl. "Geesh sorrrry" she spat sarcastically before crouching down to pick up her phone. "Not like you were doing anything- just walking. I was actually talking to people! Normal people! Not the weirdos at this school."

Rebecca smirks a little, thought the tone makes her grit her teeth in annoyance.

"Normal is a relative term. Guess that just means you're home with the rest of us weirdos, then. Congratulations. We'll try to make sure you get a memorable tote bag or something."

Tilde let out an annoyed scoff as she leaned up and dusted off her phone. "Oh please, I'm nothing like you," she spoke, rolling her eyes while continuing to text. She'd give the girl an annoyed look before cocking a brow.

"Pft okay," she grumbled, rolling her eyes. The blond continued to text- as if about to walk off until she heard the comment of having a stick up her ass. Tilde turned to glare at the woman silently. She had literally been sent half way across the world- over three thousand miles- from her friends because of a stupid power.

"Well gee- SORRY if I'm not super fuckin' happy to be here. I spent two days on a plane getting here, over three thousand miles from my friends, and my welcome party was a fight with some god damned robots!"

"I'm guessing you passed if you're still here, then." Rebecca had also been about to walk off, but the explosive girl had her attention for a moment. Her presence had broken the quiet.

"That would be Tutorial. You'll get used to it." She shrugs, indifferent. Then, after a moment, she laughed.

"Then again, if you met Mr. Amtrum, that probably isn't what you were hoping for when you got here."

"Just the robots? You got off easy. Wait until you have to fight him yourself." Rebecca tries not to laugh even harder. She really, really does. Tilde can probably hear the choking sound that comes with the effort, though.

Lowered her grade when she said he was wrong? She holds her hand against her side as the stifled laughter starts to give her a stitch.

"You didn't." Okay, yes, she's laughing. This girl had suddenly gone from annoying to hilarious, but still irritating.

"Well if he lowered you grade, you obviously didn't get a B." She shakes her head and straightens, wiping imaginary dust from the hem of her skirt.

Tilde shrugged. "I doubt they'll let me fight him," she spoke softly. Tilde's power wasn't exactly friendly to other people. When she noticed the choked laughter, the blond turned red. "What are you laughing about!?" she snapped.

"Those robots both went down in less than a minute! I totally should have gotten an A!"

For her credit, Rebecca does try to stop for the other girl's sake when she gets snapped at. She shakes her head as the sound fades to a chuckle, then dies out complete as her expression and tone instead turn serious.

"Why don't' you think they'll let you? I've done it more than once." Between that and the soft tone, she was curious now.

"What did you say to him, exactly?" Amtrum's a bit of a dick, but he was also honest and she couldn't say he was unfair or didn't know what he was doing when she'd interacted with him. He couldn't be if he was here after over a decade.

"Dude, he's been around for years, and he's still alive and kicking. That should tell you a lot. But if you had a B or something before he dropped it, then you probably got hit or got sloppy or something." Another shrug as she forces herself to rethink.

Oi yoi yoi. Rebecca rubs her temples with her fingers, nostrils flaring as she inahles a slow, deep breath.

Yep, her brain is breaking.

"Alright. Humor me. Before I ask why you were more worried about boys than what you'd be walking into, what the hell did you say to drop your grade enough for you to throw a fit?" And apparently keep going.

She has a vague notion of what lines it might have been like.

She actually feels sorry for Mr. Amtrum.

Back to staring. She opens her mouth to speak a couple of times, but nothing comes out save for an audible click of her teeth as she closes it again. She needs a moment to process.

More than one.

"Well yeah, but you know what? They're probably going to enjoy knowing you can handle yourself, too." She shakes her head and finds herself missing the quiet that existed before this girl literally walked into her life.

"So your power's 'not nice to people,' but you're willing to play eye candy, huh? What happens if they want more than a look or want to get to know you?" Since that phrasing can cover a lot.

Tilde had totally considered spitting on her but chose not to. She nodded curtly at the fair enough while continuing to seemingly text away. At the mention of controlling her power, she frowned deeply.
