Appearance: About average for his age, Jude is pale from his time inside with Dillon. His hair is a blonde, shaggy, and all natural, and his eyes glow an interested, often temperamental blue. His skin is a bit rough from the battles already fought and his expression is hard against the battles to come. His muscles are lithe and thin but trained, kept to the peak of their performance capability.
Personality: Brash, rash, quick-witted, and hot-headed, Jude loves with nothing but kindness and hates with violence. He can be difficult to get along with but is eternally, irrevocably loyal to those worthy of it. He is driven by his own sense of morality and believes that growing up hard raises true warriors. The soft are worth protecting but the stupid are worth nothing.
Interests: Jude wants to be a doctor, to spend his time fixing the pains caused by others instead of being the cause of those pains. Classical piano music and drawing/sketching.
Skills:
First Aid and Combat Medicine Sketching Billiards Origami Tarot/Occult Gambling
Abilities/Powers:
Paper Manipulation
Jude can bend and warp paper itself to his will, the forms and shapes it can become and maintain are strictly based on his imagination and will. He can only effect the paper within a certain distance, and he can alter only it. Changing it's shape, structural rigidity and fluidity to overcome whatever the situation calls for. The paper itself can only be manipulated within a specific distance of his person. While he might continually will it's existence, it will fall apart if it leaves his area of effect for any amount of time at all.
The area of effect is dependent on his focus, for all intents and purposes, he's got a 20 meter circle around him. This area of effect cannot exceed that area, however, he can extend that area by shortening others. Effectively, he has a set area that he can affect, and normally that area is a circle around him, by shortening certain sides of it, he can extend others. This takes massive concentration, and limits his mobility considerably, turning him into a stationary target.
History: Jude had never really belonged in his family, his mother had him with her first boyfriend when he was very young. Neither his step-father nor his half-siblings paid him any mind, nor attention, even when he was fighting, and dangerously close to failing out of school. If it weren't for Dillon and her family bringing him in, he'd be a brawling street urchin.
Paper had always fascinated the young Bostonian, the many forms and shapes one could fold, bend and warp a piece of paper into brought out his imagination, and let him understand what he wanted to do. To use the materials around him to make something beautiful. Or in his specific case. Fix something ugly. Jude hated bullies, hated cruelty, and most of all, he hated people picking on those smaller and weaker than them.
Dillon had never been big, or strong, and she always seemed a little weird to the other kids, so they picked on her. He'd leave an origami crane on someone's lunch tray or in their locker, and if they didn't get the warning, he'd catch them after or outside of school and kick the crap out of them. Bullies were never tolerated.
He'd spend his nights reading, learning to become a doctor before passing out, only to wake up with Dillon curled up next to him. Her parent's at first weren't happy with the situation. Then they realized, she always ended up in the same place, in the same cloths, and nothing was really wrong.
Soon after his fifteenth birthday, Jude met up with a Paradigm recruiter and agreed to join. He wouldn't become a doctor any other way. Not with his grades, and his temper. Structure, study and hopefully, a scholarship would fix that for him, so that he could follow his dream. So that he could fix people, help them, and heal them.
