As the ladies continue around the city they see very little at a glance that would be considered off for a major city. Other than many of the signs and people seemed to be speaking in English and written in English. Though there were signs of Turkish scattered about here and there. But people seemed happy and just living their lives.
However every park seemed to have statues of Jimothy, always depicted heroically. Angelically. Saintly. Posters hung up on street posts called for suspicious activity to be reported to the authorities. Signs warning all that behold them that the inquisition was watching. On the surface the city was vibrant and happy, but to Savaak and Eliott they can see the rot that the general populace doesn't seem to notice or be phased by.
"Let's test something." she decides, walking up to someone that looks like they probably live here.
"Excuse me...I'm doing research on Great Men of Our Time, and I was wondering if you could tell me more about the divine being that is Jimothy Clavish."
She was mostly focused on the ease of the answer for the person.
Savaak will stick with Eliott and watch for any reactions from the people around, if they agree with the person Eliott chooses or feel the need to watch them. Or join in.
"Well, I assume you intend to write on his glorious liberation of our nation from the corrupt despots that oppressed us?"
His face took on a glassy expression, seemingly lost in time like someone remembering fond memories of their childhood.
"He is magnificent. I saw him once in battle. When he came to save us. I was but a boy at the time. But he fought off at least a dozen men on his own. Their bullets ripped through his flesh but they did not know that they fought against a God. Every time he fell he'd arise and strike more and more of them down until they ran in terror or prostrated themselves before their lord. I've heard it told that there were many occasions that whole forces would lay down their arms and kneel before him without a single shot being fired.
And when the President surrendered to Jimothy the crowd erupted into cheers of tearful joy as his head rolled from atop his shoulder. Oh to be alive to witness such a sight..."
Definitely culty with 'fighting against a god.' Savaak makes note of the story's details, like how many laid down arms without fighting against Clavish.
"False prophets?"

"Good afternoon." she says with a polite nod of her head.
"I was doing my school project on Great Men of Our Time, and I was hoping you could tell me about Jimothy Clavish. I'm recording real responses from the people he's touched with his greatness."
"It would be an honor to continue to share the Greatness of our Lord. Was there anything in particular you wanted to hear about? Personal interactions and blessing from our Lord? Or are you more interested in the historical tellings?"
