The kick would land a solid blow with a snap as Mathew's jaw dislocated, earning Silas a grunt from the man. He was free to determine if it was from surprise or pain. Removing him from the Earth was a good plan to prevent him from getting armor or sinking down into the ground, but it was not enough to stop his control. A lack of countermeasure prepared for that was a huge flaw if Silas was attempting to win a fight. Though they both knew it would never be able to be a real fight while they were on the same side.
