Name: Averie Gilmen
Nickname(s): Vee, Re-ra
Status: Jr. Agent
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Height: 5'4”
Weight: 105 lbs
Religious Beliefs: Nah
Sexual Orientation: Whatever she feels like

Appearance: Small in many senses of the word, Averie is on the shorter side with a  light build and figure.  The eternal farmer's tan has finally faded, leaving her pale enough that her family still does a double take, and that's without the makeup.  Brightly colored hair is a give away for her wherever she goes, and her clothing style would best be described as "nah."  She's not afraid to show her skin, doesn't care if you don't like what you see, and sports a couple of tattoos on her arms already.  She likes clothing that lets her move freely and tends to play with fashion in her own way.  She typically wears bold makeup and enjoys getting reactions out of people with her appearance.

Personality: Plainly speaking, Averie is a wild child and a bitch.

Cocky and reckless, Vee will speak her mind whether it's wanted or not. She's not one to worry about other people's opinions or feelings, and even those she is close with have to meet a certain level of expectation to have her respect. Averie's high energy and believes in working for what you get, one way or another, and pushes herself to be even better than she knows she is. She loves a challenge and ditches what bores her before you can blink, so what better place than Paradigm to take care of both? Pushing people's buttons and living city life is just a perk.

What, she's supposed to be stuck with nobodies in the middle of nowhere for the rest of her life?  Ain't no one got time for that.

Interests: Animals (SO FLUFFY), music, hiking, social media, messing with people/things

Skills:

Fighting – Averie doesn't have a specific discipline that she was taught, but between a hoard of brothers and learning on the fly, she's good on her feet.

Enhanced Endurance – She spent a lot of her life on a farm. In Montana. Even without her powers, she can handle physically demanding situations most wouldn't assume she could.

DIY Girl – Someone's gotta fix thing when they break. Why wait for someone else to do it? She's a bit of jack-of-all trades, filling in as a situation needs, and can right something to work or be repaired by her with some elbow grease and determination.

Spanish – Her step father and his family are Mexican, so Averie is fluent in Spanish and doesn't care if how she speaks doesn't match up to some school's curriculum.

Gunplay – Vee was taught to use a gun when she was old enough and still on the farm.

Abilities/Powers: Animal Mimicry -Averie's able to use the senses of a given animal, though her body doesn't shift with the change. Currently, her abilities are restricted to animals she's observed, so she relies on zoo visits and internet videos for what she can't see in person or for ideas to practice with. Currently, she can only mimic one animal at a time, but this may change with time and experience.

History: Vee's mother was pregnant at a young age, so Vee was raised by her grandparents as much as her mother during her early childhood. She grew up on the outskirts of town, a small hub surrounded by farmland and conservative thinking. She grew up knowing of her father's name and fame without ever meeting him. The heroic stories of her father disappeared after her mother remarried; Averie acquired a passel of half-siblings and some old guy who needed to leave her alone instead of trying to be a stand-in.

In time, she learned to embrace being the odd one out and took pride in it, even as it made things awkward for others. The new family worked on a small farm, with enough space for the passel of half-siblings she had gained. The internet was crap, but she picked up skills she wouldn't have as a townie. It lasted a few years, and when the shitty teenage rebellion started, she wound up moving back in with her grandparents, who were less forgiving than she remembered. Maybe it was the vivid blue hair dye or being out all hours of the night, the town seeing some bright new graffiti over the walls outside. What? They were fading and cracked, anyway.

When Averie was old enough to move out to the city, she did. It was better than she could have imagined. Cue Paradigm, or what's left of it now. If there are other motives, she doesn't share them, but considering father kind of died as far as anyone knew after joining Paradigm, she didn't really have anything else to go off of other than a drunken one nigher her mother didn't talk about anymore.

She'd find her own answers, and be better than he was, too.
