She'd won her fight, but it hadn't been easy. She'd lost a fairly large chunk of flesh in the process. It would leave a gnarly scar when it was healed up, it wouldn't be the first though, and it wouldn't be the last.
After raiding some of the mini bars for some high proof liquor she'd find a nice sunny spot on the deck with plenty of light. With the sewing kit from her bag in her room, she'd get to work, wincing in pain as she poured the alcohol over the wound before stabbing into her flesh. She hissed as the needle worked it's way through, coming out the other side of the wound before looping back. And thus she began the meticulous process of stitching herself back up. Again.
As for Penny, bless her heart, she's practically traumatized from her encounter with Tiao's bite. It was HUGE. She squeaks out sobs between sniffles. How infected was the bite? Will SHE turn into a zombie now? How long does she have left?
"Keep it together Penny..."
She sobs to herself as she passes Summer, bandages between her teeth.
She's dabbing her wound with some disinfected cotton balls.
"It won't hurt anymore... It's just a bite..."
She looks around and finds some leftover honey from someone's meal. Why she's even out here to begin with, basically. Penny wills the honey to her, then slathers it over the missing flesh. She scratches some sugar off her shoulder on top of the honey, and wraps the bandage around the wound as quickly as possible.
She's still sniffling and crying. The last time she's been hurt anywhere nearly as bad as this was when she lost her original arms...
She glanced over, mouth open to ask if the clown was alright. She'd had a chunk bitten out of her too. But the words lost themselves in her throat as she watched the clown slather honey over the wound...
That... wasn't normal... or healthy. Or so she assumed.
She just stared, needle sticking out of her arm and jaw ajar.
"You'd think it would get infected, but honey actually helps wounds! Native Americans used to do it! You can look it up if you can't take my word for it!"
She perks up throughout the educational possibility, distracted, if momentarily, from imagining what it's like to stitch herself up on her own.
"I mean, I trust my physical therapist, who told me about it being better than using sugar..."
She'd say before resuming the stitching of her flesh. She'd wince every time the needle pierced her flesh, fresh blood bubbling forth as she worked. But her hands were swift and her needlework tight and neat. She was well practiced.
Penny looks around to make sure she won't be reprimanded for seemingly slacking off. Buuuuuut chatting COULD count as entertaining, and that's part of her job description, so why not!
"So, you can go THROUGH things! That's so cool! Though, maybe not cool for the things you go through..."
