He'd stay silent. If she thought something sketchy was on and knew she couldn't beat him. Then it stood to reason that's why she was afraid and bringing this up. Though those emotions wouldn't help her. Nor would putting faith in a stranger that she just met. Either him or the bear.

Despite having her all wrong and completely misunderstanding what she meant, the silence means Kidd can't bug him much more.

She just gives an annoyed groan at it, shaking her head and walking off. There were plans to be made with or without his input. That seemed more fun.
