Kidd sits by the pool-side, splashing her legs in the water. There was too much going on for her to question Kuma any further, but the things he told her were stuck in her mind.
There was some weird stuff going on around here.
Maybe she should try to look into that.
"Mahou shoujo Shinji." she mumbles under her breath, doing a peace sign near her eye as she imagines him as some sort of all powerful magical girl in a sailor suit.
Gilgamesh was nearby, leaning against the railing as he watched the ocean crash against the boat. He hoped that the next round would prove to be a bigger challenge than his first round. Though he doubted his opponent would be as interesting as a user of the forbidden arts. Hopefully, she had more than her appearance to make her stand out.
She seems pleased that he speaks Japanese because that makes things soooo much easier for her.
"Good, you speak Japanese, too. Then allow me to stick to that."
Her smile disappears and she puts on a serious expression.
"Don't think I'm making fun of you, I'm being honest here. What are your thoughts on other worlds? Heaven, hell, everything else? Do you think they're real?"
He wasn't debating the possible existence of such states or existence, simply that they did not matter. While they resided in this plane of existence this was what they needed to focus on. The pursuit of the ideals of another state of being was folly for the very idea is impossible to know while confined to this state. Even our impressions of such ideals were flawed by the limitations of our own existence.
"You'll be in trouble if this place catches you unprepared. Of course, you don't know what I do. But I don't think there's any point telling you now. 'I wouldn't matter.'"
She quotes him in a mocking tone.

"You're saying that under the assumption that it's something that can be understood!"
She points to him aggressively, but doesn't touch him.
"Something weird is happening here, don't pretend like it doesn't matter! You might be willing to ignore it just to play around, but I don't intend to become the prey of some unknown force! There's no greater shame than to be overpowered by something you couldn't prepare for. What if it's aliens? You can't punch away getting vaporized, stupid big brother! That's the point I'm getting at!"

"If it can not be understood then there is no point fretting about a lack of understanding."
He disagreed with her point about being able to fight aliens or anything really. If it was corporeal it can be fought, if it is unable to be fought than preparation would not change anything.
"Do you want to die so badly?! I'd rather grant you that wish myself!" she says, stomping her foot. As usual she's careful about how much strength be puts into her actions. She doesn't really wanna go through the boat.
"I do. And I figured it would be rejected originally for it being impossible." she says, crossing her arms.
"But there have been stranger powers so I was willing to assume someone might be able to do the impossible. But now things are getting more strange than just real life Genies."
She does pause to think about the losers. It's true, they HADN'T been seen since their losses. Sure the winners were taken to a feast and kept apart from the losers for a bit...but they should have seen them around the ship since then, right?
