Sabrina has gone off to whatever room has a database or other records in it!  She examines the ring BirdBud/Osiris gave her, looking to see if it was made out of any materials she recognized, anything engravings or gems, etc.

Just off to the central terminal is an office where Clarke had previously found some translucent tablet looking items! Thanks to her wristband she can read most of it. The ring looks like this, a small red stone in the middle with a faint glow!

Sabrina rubs the band idly as she looks at the ring, then turns her attention to the tablet looking things! She tries to look for basic terms - red metal and gem, plus the symbol on its face. With BirdBud having few memories, it was hard to say what kind of culture it came from. Or where that culture was.

How long is Sabrina willing to dig through? For quite some time, she comes across several descriptions which she assumes are just various stones of various worth. Like space rubies.

She pokes around the first few descriptions of space rubies since it seems to be most common. She's willing to test how the ruby feels in terms of material, but doesn't want to alter it.

If it doesn't match up, she'll push through until she finds the first thing other than space rubies!

It takes quite a while, but she does come across something about the glow relating to cosmic energy. There's a lot that doesn't translate cleanly, but it seems to be either powerful or valuable. Maybe both.

If she messes around with an empty tablet for a while she can figure out how to write or type in it like an earth tablet. Seems these things were like space books!

Someone's gonna have to make herself a space GRIMOIRE.

Until then, she tinkers around until she can jot down the stuff that doesn't translate well, along with what she is available to make out. She may have to hit up Clarke to see if he can make any sense of the gibberish.

It's tempting to put on the ring, but Sabrina holds off on that for a moment to instead look up anything on Osiris's people to see if it came from their world!

Honestly, she's probably looking for images to find the closest thing.

Sabrina finds out about the Avems! They look close to what Sabrina was looking for. Seems to be some sort of avian ancient race. The logs state they were endangered species a long time ago, but were known to be catalogers of knowledge!

"Devoured?" The heck is that supposed to mean. Other than, horrifyingly, literally. Which meant that wherever the ring was supposed to be taken probably wasn't the home planet.

"Uggggh. Next thing it's going to tell me is that it was devoured by cosmic energy." Pouting for a moment, she rubbed her face with her free hand to fight off some of the frustration.

Except now she's incited her own morbid curiosity.

"Alright then. Super valuable and/or powerful. I can handle that." She drummed her fingers on the side of the tablet for a moment before looking into what was considered cosmic energy! Somehow, she doubts it's a New Age thing.

Cosmic energy seems abundant. She recalls hearing about Paradigm and various metahumans on Earth. There seems to be not only equal, but a vast amount more of notable beings that use cosmic energy out here in this galaxy.

"Interesting." She wonders if others can feel it, as well. Then worries about if they can. She'd have to see if anyone else could, but the unease gives her goosebumps. Definitely something to protect and keep out of the hands of the more dangerous...like the clones.

Now she has ideas of things she wants to try and debates making a box with a ring holder in it to shield it. They do have a busted pod door, after all.

Before getting crafty, however, she has one more search!

Sabrina looks up what space library has the most in depth knowledge and research available, and where it's located!
