"Alright Sha-Sha, gotta take a restroom break. Mind taking care of the register if someone comes in?"

The question would be met with a few nods from the tiny girl as she paused from her sweeping. As a mute, it was hard to get jobs. Most of them involved talking with customers and that just wasn't going to happen with Shaolin. While she could certainly cover for her uncle for a few minutes, a whole day writing responses and playing charades wasn't going to do. 'Fact, customers may get even more frustrated than her. So, here she was, working at her uncle's corner store as the maid janitor.

She'd smile briefly in return to her uncle's smile and several pats on her head with his massive hand before he turned and entered the washroom. Uncle Rodney was a pretty big man, and while that missing eye and limp made him less of a threat, you didn't wanna get caught by him.

After giving her long green apron a bit of an adjustment, Shaolin would continue on her sweeping way. She'd made her way between two candy racks, when she finally heard the jingling of the door bells. Turning around slowly, the mute would observe as two boys scouted the area quickly, apparently missing her and figuring no one was in. One would quickly head for the cash register, not bothering to hop over the counter as he started to tug and pull at it. Quickly following his partner, Shaolin would watch as he made himself at home and began to stuff chip bags and snacks into his backpack. She would open her mouth as if to say something, but nothing would come.

'Cash important.'

She thought quickly, tightening her grip on her broom and rushing over to the boy messing with the register. All that noise was definitely enough for Shaolin to sneak up without being noticed. Using her leading left hand, Shaolin would slip the rectangular-based broom between the boy's legs, holding the longer side vertically so it would go by without trouble. Twisting her wrist, she'd turn the base of the broom horizontally, then quickly grab hold of the end of the stick and pull back. The cashregisterpunk's feet would be scooped back, sending him face first into the register he was attempting to rob and then onto the floor. The loud oof and sudden silence had alerted his accomplice, and Shaolin would quickly turn back and prepare herself for her other thief.

Fortunately enough, she'd been quick enough to turn, catching her second thief coming towards her and quickly jabbing the brushy end of her broom into his face. She didn't want to hurt them, just stop them and perhaps scare them away. If she was lucky.

No such luck though, and the chip-snatcher would pull himself together and push the broom away, while the cash-napper would kick at the back of her knees, sending her tumbling forward and falling just beside chip-snatcher.

"God damnit! You said it was empty in here!"

"I didn't see the mopping midget! Just get the cash and let's go!"

Turning on her back slowly, Shaolin would have only a brief second to stop the incoming foot to her chest. Luckily the broomstick provided shielding as well, and Shaolin would quickly meet the force of his stomp with an upward push of the horizontal broomstick with the force of her arms. She assumed this was similar to what pushing weights was like.

"Don't get up" he threatened her.

((I'd appreciate that whoever joins this thread doesn't run in, beat up the thieves, and save the day. I'd like there to be a struggle at least. Make 'em pull out a knife or something, but, don't knock 'em out in one post. Unless you want to help THEM, then by all means, kick my ass. <3 ))

Santiago was a bit bored as he walked the streets, sporting a red tee shirt with a black emblem that said ECKO unltd. the lettering was a bit Gothic mixed with calligraphy in red and gold, he had a pair of black jeans and a pair of black and red low-top air-force ones, he wanted to burn but he needed to get rid of some before he could have fun. Walking down ninety-second street he thought (I wonder how bad this place is, New York is much more gutta. the again I haven't really witnessed much here, I could assume that the kids from the schools are a bit wild.) Getting to the middle of the street Santiago turned and looked into a store, it was a regular bodega, but this one was being robbed.

Now Santiago had done his fair share or robbing places and people, but he did detest people who picked on the workers at the store, he watched for a moment as the two hoodlums got to work, one going for the register and another taking snacks. Looking around the store Santiago noticed a lonely girl sweeping, he saw the girl sneak up behind the one at the register and trip him up, unfortunately the other decided to help his accomplice and distract the girl, then the one at the register managed to knock her down and disable her.

Seeing them take advantage of her position, one almost landed a kick on her as she laid on the floor, but she managed to defend herself. Seeing enough Santiago walked inside the store, acting sort of oblivious to the fact that they were robbing the place, though he knew very well what was happening, he looked over at the far right wall and saw a collection of canned soups and other freeze dried foods in boxes, the chip-snatcher turned to him and said...

"Get the fuck out kid before you get hurt."

Santiago turned his head to him and smiled, seeing the guy reach into his pocket and pull out a flick knife about four inches long, Santiago relaxed himself for the impending situation and said...

"I dare you to even try and stab me sonny Jim, you'll be on the floor faster then this girl."

As he finished the boy ran toward him, they were about two yards apart, so Santiago had plenty of time to react. As he approached him with his back hunched and the knife placed in-front of him in his left hand, Santiago laughed, the boy was about a foot away from him when he moved to the outside of the assailants attack, shooting his right hand out he grabbed the young man's knife wrist and proceeded to pull his arm forward and upward, this would cause the young man's body to flip over onto his back and hit the floor with a loud thud, he landed on a stack of soda can boxes, so Santiago knew he would be in pain.

Looking over at the girl with the broom she had managed to get up and regain her composure, she seemed to be tied up with the register bandit, so he focused his attention on the chip-snatcher. When he turned back to look at him, he saw the guy was already up with knife in hand ready for another attack, but he was smart enough to not rush Santiago this time, he approached him and began to swing at his horizontally in an attempt to slash him, Santiago managed to move out of the way a few times, but one slash seemed to catch him quickly as it cut across his left tricep, leaving a long slash.

Feeling the pain a bit he charged the attacker quickly before he could retract his arm for another slash, Santiago over-powered him with ease as he closed in and grabbed the guy's right elbow preventing him from bringing his arm back to it's starting position. Not giving him time to switch hands, Santiago launched a fast and powerful knee with his right leg against the attackers stomach, as the young man keeled forward a bit he removed the knife from his hand and dashed back a few inches, as he did the attacker recovered and lunged forward at Santiago, he swung widely with his left which Santiago evaded easily, but then as his swing completed he noticed it was intended to be a feint, suddenly Santiago caught a right hook to the cheek, it didn't hurt to much but his head turned with the impact.

Feeling a foot drive into his stomach, he was sent back a few feet from his attacker, he looked back at him and saw he was charging again, Santiago observed him as he charged, with the knife in his hand now he closed it and shoved in his pocket as he shifted his weight to his left, he evaded his attacker and as he stumbled forward Santiago sent a quick kick to his back, putting him on the floor.

Looking down at his attacker, he walked over to him as he turned over on his back and placed his knees on his stomach, looking into his eyes Santiago delivered a strong one-two combo into his face, busting the guys nose a geyser of blood came out, Santiago wore red so he didn't care when some got on his shirt or pants. Picking the guy up by his shirt he placed him on his feet and said...

"Either you leave now or I knock you the fuck out and make sure you nose doesn't work right again."

His attacker laughed and lunged forward again, Santiago shook his head and when the guy was close he shifted his weight to the outside of his attacker, sticking out his foot to trip him, the attacker fell on the floor on his face. He screamed in pain as he landed on his broken nose, Santiago turned to the girl seeing she was still defending herself from her attack he called to her...

"Hey...Don't you have a gun behind that counter."

The jinglies rang again, alerting the girl of another presence. She didn't feel any relief as she wasn't sure who would be entering. It could be reinforcements for the thieves, it could be some useless witness who'd run off and act like he saw nothing, it could be someone who'd just walked into danger and that would make Shaolin's life even harder. Best case scenario, it was someone who could HELP her. As luck would have it, it seemed like that was the case.

Her eyes would roll at her apparent Saviour's words, feeling a bit insulted by the way he'd put it. Oh yeah? When this was all over she had a mind to trip the guy and see just how quickly he'd be on the floor. But enough of that, he'd done a good job at attracting chip-snatcher, and with his foot now off her, Shaolin could finally get herself back up. Swinging back into a backward somersault, Shaolin would land in a crouched position, still holding her broom in both hands. If her register-napper wanted to hit her, at least she still had the broom and there wasn't far to cover in her crouched pose. Fortunately, he'd been paying more attention to his buddy rushing the new guy, so, by the time he'd take notice of her, she'd already be on her feet.

She'd mouth the word "leave" to him, feeling there was no harm in trying to settle this without any more hurtin', but, of course, he'd been through too much to just let it go. Why couldn't they be like the robbers in TV? First sign of trouble they bolted. I guess that was probably because she wasn't armed with a shot gun, just a broom and people who attack with brooms usually get the shit beat out of them. At any rate, the guy would punch towards her, Shaolin quickly bringing the broom back then poking it right into his gut to push him back. Her eyes had grown wide. Had she taken any longer, that punch would have connected, and the quick glance of his spikey brass knuckles was enough to spook the heck out of her. It wasn't just going to be painful-metal-against-bone. It was going to be stabby-painful-metal-against-bone-and-piercing-skin. The rabbit would have to be extremely cautious not to let any of those punches land.

'How do people get things like that?!'

"That broom can't defend ya for long" the boy would grin, grabbing the end of the broom and tugging back at it. Shaolin wasn't about to let go of her weapon, so she stumbled forward a bit but leaned back quickly to engage in some sort of tug o' war. He'd manage to twist the broom right out her her grip and quickly toss it aside, leaving the tiny girl mostly defenseless. Without that range advantage, the thief would find himself confident enough to run at her again, bringing his arm back as he readied to punch the girl's shoulder. What did Shaolin do? Well she ran. Like hell she was going toe-to-toe with a dude with spikes. She'd find another way.

So with the boy chasing close behind her, Shaolin would start snatching things off shelves and chucking it back at him. That one can to the forehead had managed to slow him down, but it also pissed him off more. Even worse, while she was running back down another isle, her apparent partner would call to her about having a gun behind the counter. Oh thanks, now THEY know too. Sadly, there were no guns. At least, none she could get at. Uncle Rodney was the only one with access, instead, there was a nice bat there.

The chase turned into a race, and both Shaolin and her previous attacker were wrestling to get over the counter. Luckily, while pulling his arm back, she had managed to slip that spikey weapon off his fingers and was delighted to see he only had ONE of those. Using her foot, she'd kick the thing back, sending it slipping across the floor of the corner store and under some rack somewhere. Things were even again, but after deciding that trying to pull his arms away from the counter wasn't working, Shaolin just hopped on the guys back and started choking him by dangling at his neck.

She would have wanted to yell at her helper to go get the bat and scare these pricks away. Sadly she couldn't, and she hoped that with his opponent down, Santiago would take this moment to do something. Heck, pick up the phone and call the cops. Scream for help outside! Whatever! She wasn't going to be able to keep up the raging koala thing for long.

Valgios had been standing on the street long enough to see everything, he saw when the two boys entered the store and started robing it. he didn't want problems so he didn't mess with them beacause he thought that there was no one in the store, but the he saw this girl going with a broom and sneaking behind the one who was at the cash register. as soon as she made the first one trip the other one rushed to help his partner and he started distracting the girl, then the one at the register knock the girl down and he started trying to kick her but she defended very quickly with the broomstick.

after seeing that Valgios was going to rush to help her but then he saw something that he didn`t notice before, another guy was entering the store. "3 against 1?" he first thought. but then he saw one of the thieves rushing with a knife against the newcomer. so instantly he changed his thought "oh, it's 2 against 2".

he stod for a while outside the store seeing the fight inside. and then he suddenly started to feel it again, that anger inside of him wanted to release itself, the dark side of his personality was coming out. it wanted to be free. Valgios tried with all his forces to supress it. but his dark side won in short time.

he was still standing outside the store. but he had changed, he had now a cold and calculating eyes.

Valgios entered the store and as the people inside it heard the jingling of the door bells. they suddenly stopped the fight and all four of them saw the new guy with a strange face. he knew what they were thinking. "from wich side is this guy?". he looked at the people, lit a cigarrete and finally went to a corner of the store. and releasing the smoke from his mouth and just before one of the thieves started talking he said.

"please continue, don't mind me, just think that i'm not here... but... i have to ask you little thief to stop attacking that little girl. because i really hate people who hits women."

His attacker stood back up as his associate took off chasing the store worker, the chip-snatcher was a bit tougher then Santiago had thought of, so he intended to finish-off the assailant quickly, he was already bored of his opponent, he could see the lack of skill and one dimensional style he used. As his attacker ran toward him again with an intent to finish Santiago off, he just laughed at his opponent and said...

"Your not gonna remember much after this."

His opponent stopped in-front on Santiago and put his fists up, with a smile on his face Santiago took a boxer's stance with both his fists balled at chest level, he watched his opponent as he shifted his weight to the right and shot a left straight at Santiago's face, reacting to his opponents shoulder movement before the punch was thrown, he shifted his weight a bit to the right and when he threw the punch, Santiago's head moved to the right and went right by his ear and over his shoulder, immediately he retracted his arm and sent a fast left jab toward Santiago's chest, he saw chip-snatcher's fist coming in fast so he raised his forearms and braced for the punch to land.

With the punch landing on his forearms Santiago pushed his opponents fist forward, as he pushed forward he lowered his arms and charged his opponent into close-quarters, Santiago fired a strong left hook into his enemy's ribs, hearing a crack he saw his opponent yell and with that Santiago shot another right hook into his enemy's temple, as the punch landed his opponent went limp and fell to the floor unconscious.

The moment his opponent dropped he looked at his team-mate and saw her choking her attacker, by hanging off his neck. Just as he was going to attack, he heard the door open, looking back at the new person swagger in, he raised an eyebrow and grinned at the guy's attitude, as he lit the cigarette he shook his head and looked back at the girl still struggling with her attacker.

As the new person spoke Santiago just shook his head again and shouted...

"Either attack them or stand there, but these guys are leaving aware or not."

Santiago ran forward at the register bandit that the girl was choking, since he was on the floor from her choking him Santiago simply shoved his foot into the guy's stomach harshly, he saw him cough and drop to the side, with the girl letting go of his neck. Santiago thought he was passed out so he reached out and helped the girl up from the floor...

"Are you ok miss? Did you get hurt at all?"

Seeing the register bandit twitch his body a few times, Santiago stepped back grabbing the girl's hand as he paced...

"I don't think he's had enough."

Looking over at the new guy who had entered the store...

"Yo buddy do you want to handle this. You look kind of bored."

((Well, I never said they were on the floor but I'll roll with it.))

Swinging around on her victim's back, Shaolin would only pay the newcomer enough mind to realize he was there. He wasn't helping, really. For one, what he said was one big fat contradiction. So, while he decided to share his dislike of guys hurting girls (even if Shaolin was clearly the attacker right now) and that the thief should stop, he basically said before all that "Oh! Keep fighting! Ignore me and what I'm about to say!" So as requested, Shaolin's thief did ignore him and kept wiggling about while trying to pull Shaolin's arms away from his neck.

Santiago was making more sense at least.

All the moving and the lack of oxygen intake had made the cashburgler a bit drowsy by now, and catching the small girl by surprise, he just dropped back on top of her. Shaolin's eyes would grow wide, and she'd find herself not very braced for impact. Losing her breath after being crushed under a larger fella, Shaolin would remove her arms from the guy's neck and let him roll off her to her left. Both of them lay there, gasping for air, only Shaolin would be the only one capable of regaining it. Pushing herself up with her elbows, she'd look at her previous attacker who had pretty much fainted. But it wasn't due to her, it was her helper who'd finished the job.

Bummer.

"Are you ok miss? Did you get hurt at all?"

Shaolin would look towards Santiago with no actual expression. When the hand was offered to her, Shaolin would smile, and instead, slide herself forward to have his right leg between both of hers and twist to her left. Her right leg would come up behind his knee and push, while her left would lift up to his ankle and serve as the obstacle he'd be tripping over. If everything went as she wanted, Santiago would be tripped to the floor and Shaolin would get up on her own with a smile.

Assuming it all went to plan, she'd walk over to the cash register, scribble something on a piece of paper then flash the message to him.

You dropped to the floor fastest.

The smile on her face wouldn't show malice, but playfulness (or brattyness, depending on your perspective). She wasn't trying to hurt the guy, just get revenge for that comment from earlier. Keeping her smile, Shaolin would bring her left hand towards her lips then move it towards Santiago. The action was quite similar to someone blowing a kiss, however she did not pucker up, just smile. She wouldn't be surprised if Santiago would interpret it as a blow-kiss, however, it really meant "thank you" in sign language (which was the best she could do without turning around and writing it out).

((My bad I assumed that the guy would be choking, so he would be on the floor from the lack of air))

As she took his hand he watched as she smiled at him, smiling back at her he watched the girl slide her body forward with his assistance, he had a feeling she was going to try a sly trick on him, he saw his leg go in-between both of her and he immediately knew what she was up to, he remember learning this exact take down in his Kick boxing class, they mixed it with some Mixed martial arts so he knew how to reverse or avoid take-downs.

Before her legs could close and clamp his in-between he simply raised his leg quickly and shifted all his weight to his back, planting his right leg behind his left, which switched his stance, but his weight shift would help him maintain balance. Pulling the girl up, he managed to bring her upper body off the floor and plant her feet down as he helped her up, letting go of her hand he smiled and said...

"Nice try. But I was able to see thorough the attempt. Now if you would've tried something on me when I helped you up, it would've worked. I guess your mad about when I laughed at you when you tripped, sorry. But damn you women sure and vengeful aren't you. Nice to meet you I'm Santiago. What may I ask is your name?"

Looking around for the other guy who had entered before the two robbers were knocked out, he looked at him and saw that he wasn't doing to much, just looking around at snacks and everything else in the store, Santiago didn't pay him much mind, looking back at the girl he smiled. Looking down at both of the robbers he said to her....

"Do you have any rope because I think we should tie them up, so they don't try anything sneaky again, until the cops come. What do you think miss?"

((Sorry for the wait, I was going to see if Valgios would be back by now but I suppose not ^ ^; ))

A brief frown would appear on the girl's face as her trip failed. She was a tad disappointed, but she wasn't going to linger on it. The small girl would allow herself to be pulled up, not at all objecting a bit of help getting up. As soon as she'd retrieve her hand, she'd pat down her bottom, grimacing at the memory of her fall. By then, Santiago would proceed to speak, gathering the mutes attention only briefly. She wasn't a fan of lectures, and with a dismissive and almost exasperated series of nods, Shaolin would turn away from him by the middle of his second phrase.

'Thanks for the explanation, bud...'

She'd walk away to get her broom, looking around the store with a crooked frown. That was one hell of a mess she'd need to clean up. On top of that, she probably cost Uncle Rodney a bunch of money by throwing (and damaging/breaking) the merchandise earlier. There was soup mixed with chips and god knows what else scattered all over the floor. Not only that, but the blood from one of the thieves was going to be hard to mop.

Catching the last bit of what he had to say, the only part she actually paid mind to, Shaolin would turn to Santiago and nod as he gave her his name. When he asked for hers, she'd hold up one finger to signal him to wait as she skipped over to the counter and disappeared behind it. There was so much stuff under here, and she wasn't sure what half of it was for. She did find a tiny notepad however, and ripped off the first page that had been filled up with company names, phone numbers and prices. With a fresh page ready for use, Shaolin would pop back up, only to be met with another question.

'A rope?'

She'd duck under the counter again and dig through a box full of trinkets before popping back up and setting a large rope on the table.

'Don't know why uncle have this here. Hope not suicidal.'

Dismissing her thought as silliness, Shaolin would begin to write on the notepad, sliding it over towards Santiago.
I'm Shaolin Glory.
Thanks for the help, San. Do what you want with the robbers and rope. I'd call the cops but I wouldn't be able to tell them anything.

Ps. Feel free to help clean up. Tell that other guy too.

Shaolin would leave it to him to figure out what she meant with the calling bit, but if he was as....intuitive as he'd shown, she was sure he'd figure it out. While she wasn't sure how much longer her uncle would be (she didn't even want to think of what he was doing in there all this time), she thought she may as well lessen his shock at the sight of his store by starting to clean up. Which was technically her job, anyway. Her eyes would move towards Valgios, almost as though she were silently suggesting he do something to help, before turning around and beginning to sweep up everything non-liquid.

It didn't take too long for her uncle to finally show up, roaring a rather loud "What the fuck happened here??!!" before waddling over to the front. He looked around for answers, seeing the two boys (Valgios and Santiago) first, then the knocked out thieves (although the one that had been choked was slowly gaining back his senses) then finally he turned to Shaolin who was sweeping as though nothing happened.

"I...I need an explanation!"

Shaolin would turn to her uncle slowly and shrug, before pointing towards both boys. They could probably explain faster than her. Uncle Rodney would quickly turn back to the boys, his eyes wild and looking for answers.

Watching the girl go behind the counter, Santiago wondered what she was doing, seeing her grab a pad and scribble down something, he read it carefully and when he saw what she said he was surprised, responding he said...

"So In essence your mute and can't speak. I see the writing thing makes sense, I guess it happens. Were you born mute? By the way nice name, do you actually study Shaolin Kung-fu as well?"

Grabbing the rope from her hands, he walked over to the robber gaining his composure, seeing that he was being to get back on his feet Santiago delivered a quick kick to his stomach, seeing the man clutch his stomach he passed out again, grabbing his arm he dragged him to the middle of the store where his friend laid.

Lifting their bodies up and sitting them up, he knelt down and wrapped the rope around the robbers a few times, he made sure they were tied close together and tied down tightly, tying a hard knot at that ends of the rope he made sure they couldn't move and he stood back up.

Looking over at Shaolin he remembered that she said to call the cops, so he did. Grabbing his phone fro his pocket he dialed 911, when the operator answered he explain that he had two robbers subdued and ready to be taken in, before he hung up the operator let him know they police were on their way, but he knew they would take a million years, so he didn't count on it to much...

"Hey Shaolin, they're on their way, but their gonna take a while so don't get your hopes up to much."

Seeing that she was busy cleaning he decided to help, walking over behind the counter he found a mop and a bucket, the water inside the bucket seemed clean and soapy so he brought it out to where the robbers were and he began to mop the floor. Suddenly he heard a voice yell out in shock, he assumed it was the store owner so Santiago turned to his direction and told him what had happened...

"Aye relax old man, these two were trying to rob your store, so Shaolin and I took care of these hoodlums so they wouldn't take anything. Unfortunately it got a bit carried away, so we're cleaning up the rest of the mess here. I'll pay for some of the things they messed up, so don't worry."

Seeing the old man nod to him and walk back inside the office, Santiago continued with his cleaning duties, mopping up all the blood that was on the floor and making sure the front of the store was nice and clean. Looking over at Shaolin sweeping he said...

"Hey girl, what else do you need me to do, just let me know."

When Santiago would have asked his questions, Shaolin would have responded with a nod for if she was born mute (she wasn't, but it wasn't long after being born that her operation screwed her over, so, close enough). When he asked if she actually studied shaolin, an amused smile would cross the rabbit's lips, but she would shake her head no. Come to think of it, maybe she should take it up some day, to stay true to her namesake. It wasn't like her Asian-nut mom would say no.

While Santiago (whom she was nicknaming San because she wasn't really sure how to spell his name) would explain what happened to her Uncle, the fact he was offering to pay for some of the damage made her stop from her sweeping. It's not like she and her uncle were going to charge him. She decided against arguing, as the store would definitely need a bit of money to pay the cost of all that wasted food. Still it made her feel a bit guilty, so, Shaolin decided that she'd cut some of her pay to help pay back the stuff she'd chucked earlier too.

As he would pass her by, her Uncle would ruffle Shaolin's hair before going back behind the counter. It would have been a cute little bonding moment but Shaolin's earlier thoughts of "what was uncle doing in the bathroom so long?" were still fresh in her mind. So instead of that fake annoyed look, Shaolin's face turned into horror, quickly reaching up to head and practically pawing at it as if someone had spilled sugar in her hair.

Looking up at Santiago as he offered more help, Shaolin would think a moment. He'd already mopped up the icky stuff, and she was pretty much done sweeping...Her eyes would look over to the clock. Shift was over. She'd quickly hold up her index finger to him, in the manner which said "one minute", and quickly dart off to the backroom of the store. Picking up her belongings and taking off her apron, Shaolin would return with an under-stuffed backpack and her trusty pen and clipboard.

Having been writing while walking back over, Shaolin would flash the clipboard to him and tilt her head,
If it's not any trouble 4 u
I dun wanna b here when the cops get here. Video will show all. No need 2 stay. Let us leave. If u r not opposed to hanging out, I do have several questions to ask you. I'll be glad to answer any of your own quesch questions in return.

As she would allow him to answer her, Shaolin would wave to her uncle and make her way outside. If Santiago was done and decided to go home or wherever, Shaolin would let him and be on her own way home. However, if he decided to stick with the mini-mute a while longer, she'd quickly show him her clipboard again:
You are from the collective, right? Which school? I'm from Fremont.

She'd start off casually. It was better to get to know someone before attacking them with questions. If anything, Santiago had perhaps something to say so this was the time for it too. At any rate, Shaolin would get what she wanted regardless.

Finishing up with the mopping of the store, Santiago wiped off his forehead, he felt a bit tired but he was to bored to sleep or rest. Santiago walked back over to the counter and placed the mop and bucket, behind the counter. Looking at Shaolin, she held up her index finger in a sign to wait for her and he nodded to her, as she walked off Santiago turned to the register and reached into his pocket, grabbing his wallet and pulling it out, he looked into his wallet and saw a few hundred dollars, so he pulled out two hundred dollars and he set it under the cash register.

Hearing Shaolin's foot steps, he turned to her and walked past her and a few steps ahead of her, seeing her write something down on her clipboard, he wondered what she was saying. As she revealed her writing to him, he read quickly and he nodded saying...

"No problem, I hate the police, their presence annoys me. So let's break out."

Walking toward the door with Shaolin behind him, he opened the door and held it open for her, he watched as she walked outside, his eyes would wander down to her butt, being the guy he was he couldn't help but look down, (Not bad, damn I got to stop, i got a girl now, I can't be looking at other chicks. Being a guy is hard.), chuckling to himself a bit he followed Shaolin and closed the door behind him.

Walking next to her, his eyes wandered about the surroundings, looking at the different color stone walls of every store and home, his eyes went up to the sky and he smile as he saw the deep blue, which held a dark oblivion of beauty and chaos beyond it, Santiago always loved to think about all the universe and how it came to be, he liked to think of himself as a philosopher of sorts, more of a thinker and student of life.

Looking over at Shaolin he smiled at her and asked...

"So whats on your mind, what do you feel like doing, I'm up for anything."
