She swallowed a lump in her throat and wiped her forehead off with a towel she kept nearby. Had she been doing anything active? No not really. She was nervous, today being “Mrs. Tomson’s” first day of work.

Firstly, Xian had never had a real job ever. As a teen she was blessed with enough money to get by so having a job was a waste a time. Even through college she had enough money to pay for her tuition, her home and everything she needed for herself and her kids.
Oh well! She would just have to suck it up and get out there! In front of a bunch of angst-filled teens…. Who were known for being trouble-makers… and worse… Ah crap, she was doomed.

Xian pressed her back against her office door, hearing the sound of young male and female voices exiting the change-rooms into the gymnasium. She took in a deep breath and began to think, what should she even make them do? Maybe some laps? Stretches and then a game? Well, that could work but what would she tell them as an introduction of herself?!

The voices were now very loud out there and the sound of basketballs being thrown at baskets and hitting the ground could be heard as well. Alright, well enough of the fear, she had a class to face!

She opened her office door and stepped out, watching the teens running around and shooting some hoops.

“Alright everyone! Balls away!” she yelled but to no avail. With a groan she took her whistle and blew into it with quite some force. A few painful and shocked yelps escaped from some of the students lips before they all turned to their young Asian teacher, waiting to hear what she had to say.
“Finally. I said balls away! I want you all to do three laps around the gym and then I want you all to stand back facing that wall over there; boys separated from the girls. Got it?!”
Okay, well this wasn’t so bad! They seemed to be cooperating so far. Hopefully it would stay that way….

"Did you hear about these Peacekeepers or whatever? Should we be worried?"

Tiao Lei Shen turned his head lazily over to the student who spoke to him. For a moment he said nothing, the rest of his immediate clique stopping the shots on their baskets at the turned their attention towards their leader, who sat underneath and slightly behind the basket against the wall.

"Do you honestly think any group named Peacekeepers can be a threat? Fairy name aside, I'm sure its composed of naiive do-gooders. You know the type, they don't last long."

The Dragon Dynasty's laughed were muffled by the blow of a whistle, bringing Tiao to fade his smile and slowly turn his head back in the direction from whence it came. Tiao's eyes narrowed on the girl as his brow furrowed, remembering her from somewhere. As all the student's slowly began to do as they were told, groaning and obeying, Tiao also slowly rose to his feet, though remaining in place.

"You know it's rude to give orders without introducing yourself!" Tiao Lei Shen shouted accross the gym, breaking through all the other voices as the students stopped running as quickly as they began, turning the full crowds attention back their way.

"For all of you who don't know, this is Tong Xian Tian," Tiao paused, briefly wondering if he remembered the name correctly, but ultimately not caring.

"She's the student from Hircine High that got knocked up by our Student Dean."

Tiao Lei Shen smiled. The Director should have accepted his immunity. Now was as good of time as any to break down the staff.

OOC: 'cause, really, what the hell kind of bodyguard would I be if I weren't flanking the boss? :P Sorry for the short post, but I pretty much put it all up in a fit of inspiration.
IC:

Ari took a moment to size up the P.E. teacher at Tiao's comment, clearly sceptical. He didn't personally know Xian back at Hircine, but had seen her every once in a while, and this teacher didn't much resemble her at all; instead of being practically a stick, this "Xian" was much curvier. It wasn't as if Ari were interested in her figure - he could never find a woman who had been pregnant attractive, especially if they gave birth - but the differences intrigued him. Academically, he knew it was possible the former Hircine student had just put on weight, and it had been a couple years, but it was a little tricky attaching the same name to someone who looked quite different. The face was similar enough, but that seemed about it to Ari; maybe his memory was just off.

"That's her? She looks... different." he said, taking his usual position slightly behind Tiao and to his employer's right as he kicked a basketball away with his huge foot. Some bodyguards liked to place themselves right in front of their charge, but Ari found he could see the surroundings better if he stood just slightly behind, especially with as drastic a height difference as that between Tiao and himself. Threats always tried to come in from a blind spot, in his experience, unless the person making the threat was terminally stupid, and this way he could cover much more of the area. Maybe it was redundant with a bunch of other Dragon Dynasty recruits around, but Tiao was paying him well to make sure nobody took him down before Ari could, and he wasn't going to slack off even if it technically wasn't honest work.

Tch, not that anyone in this crowd would have the balls to make a move. Well, it's better than basketball at least.

Ari couldn't stand basketball, or most sports that didn't involve beating the shit out of someone for that matter. He supposed he was big enough to do fairly decently with it, and the act of shooting helped clear his mind some, but it was dull; he'd take a boxing ring or wrestling mat over a basketball court, any day. There was just something primal about the swift, vicious motions of a fight, the rush of adrenaline and the thrill of having victory or defeat in your own hands, that a sport about chasing a ball around just couldn't match. He knew not everyone agreed with him, but he didn't give a shit; it was what he believed, and that was that.

For now, though, he pushed the thought out of his mind, and instead focussed on Xian and Tiao, watching the rest of the crowd in his peripherals and filtering out the sniggers of his fellow Dragon Dynasty members. His whole posture suggested that he was daring someone to make a move, and a look of contempt began to creep across his face as he continued to size Xian up. Back in the day, they had a different word for a student who let a teacher knock her up, and it wasn't "Physical Education instructor" unless one were using it as a very odd euphemism. Especially not when there was no way they were old enough to have gone through all the schooling required.

"Actually, I think I see it," he admitted. "So, who d'you think she's gonna spread her legs for this time, Tiao?"

((OOC: A passing, “There, happy now?” post. I have a feeling that I'm breaking the time-space continuum a lot with all the threads I have still going, so I'm going to count this after the“I'm So Cool, Kay? 8D” and my “I'm feeling so sincere right now” threads.))

The more it came up in conversation, the more Dagny needed uniforms if she wanted to lower her odds of getting caught during her trespassing endeavors. She didn't feel like returning to Henry Knox too soon after her encounter with Ian and she already mentioned that she was a O'Hare student to Santiago, so the only real uncharted territory left to her was Fremont (even though she unknowingly met more Fremont students than any other student). With a “swine flu” face mask and sunglasses hiding her identity, Dagny snuck into the girls' locker room as soon as she thought they were all in the gym—A tall feat once you consider how long they take to change. She was the very picture of a late student with her backpack and casual wear, if you don't count the silver-indigo-black-schemed uniform she needed.

“Hmm... Which locker...”

That'd suck if they're made to specially fit each individual... Expensive as heck, but if they can afford uniforms...

Dagny picked a locker at random as the PE teacher in the gym told the students to put the balls away. The neat thing about locker rooms? No cameras. The only thing she'll have to worry about is people coming in and not recognizing her as she unlocks or forces her way into lockers. With a crude lockpick, she began to open one of the lockers in the middle aisle and overheard a rather loud and familiar voice speaking up.

Is that—OH HELL NO.

Yeah, it was Tiao. And crap, a Hircine High student is the PE teacher. It's a really, really small world, isn't it? Dagny cringed and worked even more diligently to open the locker she's working on. Staying here isn't a good idea. Then another voice spoke up.

Aw, now that's just rude...

And the locker was open, revealing a school bag, a bunch of cosmetics, and the coveted uniform.

Now to see if it fits...

As she settled down, feeling like all would be fine; Xian suddenly heard the voice of a male talking back. She had assumed it was a student of hers and was getting prepared to tell him to not talk back when she saw who it was. He was a Hircine student. She didn’t personally know him but knew enough of him to know that he was trouble. But what could she do? Yes he was interrupting her class and all but the worse she could do was tell him to leave which she doubted he would do. Plus, she didn’t want this to turn ugly since fighting was not her style to deal with things, also, he most likely had much more fighting experience then she did so she’d definitely get her ass kicked if she tried.

She swallowed nervously, a little confused and unsure as to how to react at what Tiao had just said. She could hear her students mumbling and whispering at the new golden gossip. To poor Xian, the silent talking sounded like loud speaking her to; every harsh words hitting her hard inside. All she wanted to do was make a good living for herself and her children and this happened… Well shit.

“Well hello Tiao. I’m assuming we never truly met. And yes, what he says is true. But when I was with Maverik he wasn’t the Student Dean yet” she said. Not that it would make much of a difference. People would still think of her as a slut. “I know what you’re all thinking, but no, I am not a slut or a whore. I love Maverik and we even got married so it was NOT just a sex thing If that’s what you all assume. Oh and I’m not Tong Xian Tian anymore. I am Mrs. Xian Tian TOMSON.”

She would not let him get to her. She wasn’t a whore, she loved Maverik, married him, had his children and is and would always be loyal to him. So he had no right to make that statement and make her look bad in front of her students. But what really caught her attention was this thought: What was his intentions? Why would he randomly say this crap without some deeper meaning? Well, she didn’t have enough time to think that through as Tiao’s bodyguard decided to join the ‘fun’.

She just kept her mouth shut, she would not let him get to her.
“I’ll have to ask you boys to leave. Clearly you’re not part of my class so just leave before I get the principal. I have a class to teach.”

Good! She had to be professional, and this was the best way to be it. Now, hopefully he would listen, though knowing how Tiao is, she doubted that would happen.

Xian fessed up, but it was littered with excuses. All decently rational, from Tiao's standpoint, but fodder for teenage gossip nonetheless. Tiao didn't know her personally, but based on her age and attitude, he sincerely doubted she would be unable to let it get to her. Like she said, they had never met, but Tiao had an instant distaste for her. Maverik was the leader of one of those naiive do-gooder gangs he was talking about. That gang, consisting mostly of Varron morons, thought they could tell Tiao how to run his school. No mystery they didn't last too long.

Tiao Lei Shen smiled at her reply, but didn't have the time for another of his own as Ari instinctively quipped as well. It lacked the finesse Tiao believed his own words had, but it made him grin nonetheless. Crude, but effective. Tiao could always appreciate that.

"Ari, go break someone. Anyone of your choice."

Tiao spoke just slightly quieter than a normal speaking voice, giving his directions to the larger man so that only the people in the immediate area, purposely exlcuding Xian, would be able to hear.

"Unfortunately, Miss Maverik, that won't be happening." Tiao started, loud once again as he took a few steps to close the distance, pulling his schedule out of his pocket.

"According to this, I'm schedule right here, right now, teacher TBA. Looks like that's you, stuck with us." At this point, Ari should have carried out his orders, to which would assure nothing but the utmost attention from everyone around. Tiao would continue, speaking over any screams of shock and pain.

"Understand this, all of you. I am in control here. Not you, and certainly not her. If I wish you broken, you will break. If you stay out of my way and out of my conflicts, you'll stay healthy and happy." Tiao Lei Shen paused once more, turning his gaze back from the crowd and back to Xian.

"This is my collective. Is that clear?"

(Slightly delayed, but I was coordinating something so... meh. Also, I'm just assuming Ari is following his orders. :P )

Gym class was one period that Seth rarely attended, as he had never really felt the urge to push himself in front of others. While the gang member enjoyed keeping himself in shape, having people watch him maintain his conditioning had always seemed strange... uncomfortable, to him. However, today was an exception. Today, there was a brand new teacher, and from rumours, it was a relatively young one. As far as Seth had experienced, "young" meant much more likely to be malleable, and potentially useful, as the older someone was, the more set in their ways they became.

Unlike the rest of the class, Seth had refused to change into gym clothes, choosing instead to wait inside the change room for a few minutes. He wasn't particularly in a rush to get out there and start messing around until the teacher showed up like most of his class, deciding rather to watch from just outside the changeroom and observe the new teacher for a few minutes, to see if he could glean anything useful from how she controlled the class. Her initial troubles in keeping the class under control had been a disappointing sign, but the speed at which she managed to correct the students who weren't listening to her made up for it.

Seth's mental analysis, as it were, would be swiftly interrupted by an Asian student he was all too familiar with from San Francisco. For a moment, the gang member was surprised at Tiao's rude behavior, not expecting such a difference in attitude from how the former Pillar had acted at Hircine. Tiao had always been hotheaded and rude, but from what Seth could remember, he had never openly disrespected a staff member so openly, not unless they had done something to him first. The larger student who spoke up behind Tiao seemed to be another acquaintance of his, which would be confirmed with the smaller male's orders being given out.

Frowning slightly, Seth would walk to the side of the bleachers, catching Will's eye with a glance and gesturing for him to come down from his seat. With Tiao wrapped up in his evil mastermind speech, and his large accomplice in the process of pounding another student into the floor, the sight and sound of the dark haired youth walking calmly up behind Ari would go unnoticed for the moment, though the slight frown on Seth's face would surely hint at what would come next. Just as Tiao spoke his final question, Seth's right foot would be rising from the ground, lifting up to waist height before being driven forward into the small of Ari's back, driving the larger male forward and likely sending him in a stumble. Satisfied that he had made his point, Seth would look towards Tiao, his right hand dipping into his pocket and fishing out a cigarette and his lighter while he spoke.

"Tiao Lei Shen, that's no way to treat a lady. I had no idea the Tiger of Hircine had fallen so low as to become a common thug."

Placing the unlit cigarette in his mouth, Seth would hold off on lighting it for the moment, choosing instead to continue with what he had been thinking.

"You know... I had no intentions of getting involved at first, as I really don't care what you do. However, there's one fact you seem to need to be corrected with; this collective isn't yours. You don't control everything here. I advise you keep yourself and your pack on a tight leash, before you run off barking at every other dog in the neighborhood."

Patience wore thin to the Irishman, particularly since he was dealing with a rather nasty hangover today. Time and time again he reasoned that he could have a FEW drinks before class the next day, but a few always, quite literally always turned into every free drop he could get his hands on. Last nights potion of choice had been a good bottle of bourbon. Good, of course, as in cheap and effective.

Thus explaining why, even though classes were still in effect across the campus, the beastly form of the Irishman found itself languishing on the bleachers in the Fremont gymnasium. After all, when one wished to skip classes, where better than to do so completely out of the facilities provided to the damned army brat populace of the school, using Fremonts considerably large gym as his safe haven. One of his massive arms folded behind his head, the other draped across his torso as he stared at the back of his eyelids. He'd done so for most of the day, the bright lights not exactly agreeing with his hung-over eyes, occasionally opening them to look at whatever classes happened to come in.

When he finally saw Seth enter for a class, a small smirk crept atop his face. He rarely saw the dark-haired boy exert himself in any capacity unless they were fighting, so this might prove to be a rare amusement. Tilting his head slightly to watch without rolling his eyes to the side, he waited for the class to start only to find that some uppity little rice-pusher started shooting his mouth off at the instructor. Fair enough, if she had gotten her end away with the Hircine dean (a remark that caused no end of intrigue to the Irish titan), particularly whilst a student herself, then she brought some of that on herself. Fact was, each person had their own business. He could care less if she'd made her way through the faculty, hell, he'd had interesting evenings with a couple of T.A's back at that school...

However, when the little Chinese upstart began making remarks that he was the one in charge, Wills eyes simply shot toward Seth, almost certain that the fellow Son had noticed him and would have had a similar reaction to the words. Oh, the boy was a silly one. Perhaps a case of right idea, fatally wrong execution, because it was unlikely anyone else in the crowd would have bothered speaking up at the sight of the large mook with him. Swinging his legs to the side and pushing himself to his feet, he idly walked along the length of the seating bench before coming to the aisle and pacing the steps. At the moment, if Seths usual standard was anything to go by, all he had to do was be present and everything would come together nicely.

By the time his feet struck the laminated wood flooring that made up the central gym he was treated to Seths opening intervention, the foot that struck the large mook, and immediately decided that this was going to be his counterpart for whatever was to come. He was no genius, so he didn't go out of his way to think too much about what was being said, instead a dry, almost disinterested casuality prevailed on his face as he looked over whilst he walked. The fact that a large number of the class began to edge away was to the benefit as well, as the other large youth was left with Will standing a few paces away from him and simply watching him. Right now he was content to wait for further direction. If they started to fight here, both of them as abnormally sized as they were, the odds of it being a simple exchange of punches was unlikely. Something was going to get broken...

Dagny never was too fond of wearing skirts. Sure, she doesn't mind wearing dresses when the occasion calls for it, but skirts? Oy... She has the build of a dancer to some extent, but her legs are that of a runner—She's someone who's always on the go. By no means does she have thunder thighs, but let's just say that she just doesn't like how she looks in skirts because it has something to do with her legs. She stood in the girls' locker room wearing her newly acquired uniform. A decent fit, even if it was a bit loose around the waist for her. If she wasn't unnerved by what she was wearing and what she was hearing in the gym (from the teacher talking back, Tiao making a stand, and Seth just being there), she would've “DA NA NA NAAAAAA!!”-d in triumph.

Whoever chose these fooking colors for uniforms ought to be torn to pieces... And have every piece thrown into a fire...

“Screw this. I'm not running around in this skirt. I'm gonna nick a guy's uniform.”

...And thus, Dagny's problems got worse. Being a coincidence magnet sucks. Remember that. She crept out of the girls' locker room and into uncharted territory that knew no aerosol—The guys' locker room. It always baffled her how they could put up with this smell. Perhaps the odor hit her hard because she's sensitive enough to smell it? Who knows? All she knows is that being in the guys' locker room with everything going on in the gym (and while wearing the uniform still, along with her backpack, sunglasses, and swine flu mask) was just tempting fate. The last thing she needed was a guy to come in as she picked at a lock.

OOC: (So sorry for the late reply. My keyboard was broken so I had to wait until I could buy a new one.))

IC:
“Fuck” She cursed under her breath. Well, there went her nice first day of work…
She couldn’t stand him and wanted to stop him from doing whatever he wished but she was limited as to what to do. Her best bet was either to get the principal or to hope that someone else would control him. She had a family at home and as pathetic as it sounded, she didn’t want to injure herself with two children under the age of four at home.

All she could do was keep her eyes on Tiao, watching his every move; and selfishly, to also not see what was being done to her student by one of his allies. The screams of pain and odd sounds made her stomach do a flip and she had to swallow an odd lump in her throat. It was not a pleasant sound, and it was most likely not a very nice view either.
“Stop it…” she whimpered. “STOP IT! He never did anything to you!” she snapped.
He continued to talk, giving some sort of sickening speech. She would not let some spoiled brat get his way. That was a guarantee.

Before she could even reply to Tiao, in came another familiar face. Again, she didn’t know him personally and she didn’t even know his name, but she did know that he went to Hircine. That much was obvious. Of course he had to be disobeying the rules by not wearing gym clothes and having a cigarette in his mouth but she would worry about that later. She didn’t really know what to do or say by that time. From how everything was going; Seth and Tiao would most likely be having some sort of discussion or fight. So she just kept her mouth shut and looked from Seth to Tiao to see his reaction to what he was told.

Ari typically wasn't an easy person to order around. It wasn't impossible, per se, but he was a headstrong person, and tended to outright ignore an order more often than he actually followed it. For a lot of people, this made him quite difficult to work with, even if he was effective on the off chance that he did what they told him to do. However, there was a trick to getting him to actually follow an order; you could either make sure he respected you enough to just follow whatever you said, which was extremely difficult, or you could take the easier route by making sure what you're telling him to do goes along with what he was thinking of doing anyway. Ari didn't know if Tiao was aware of the fact or not, and didn't much care, but it meant he was much more likely to actually follow the man's instructions.

Because of this, Ari's contemptuous sneer turned into a feral grin the moment Tiao instructed him to break someone, and his eyes immediately started to scan the crowd. It was oh so tempting to just make a beeline for Xian and smash her into a fine paste, but he had the feeling that would screw up whatever Tiao had planned, so he searched for other candidates. The crowd was large, but it didn't take long for Ari to find his target; like a number of the guys in the class, this one's eyes were all but glued to the gym teacher's breasts, enough so that he didn't seem to notice the giant sizing him up. That wasn't what set Ari's mind on the man, though; everything about him made it clear this student was a total punk. He was tall, fairly well-built, and his head was shaven nearly bald, while Ari was sure that if he weren't wearing a uniform the guy would be proudly displaying an ink shop's fortune of "white power" tattoos.

The skinhead's face was scarred, both from battle wounds and pockmarks that couldn't have been anything but acne scars. One of his ears was torn, while his left nostril and the bottom-right corner of his lips were pierced. His whole posture conveyed the kind of aura he expected from someone trying too hard to look tough and earn "respect"; not genuine respect, the kind worth having, but the naive, "gangsta" idea of respect that was more like being allowed to do whatever you wanted because everyone was too afraid of you. In fact, unsettling reminders of his younger self aside, he could almost wager that this delinquent piece of crap was part of one of the minor gangs scattered about Chula Vista and San Diego that still tried to resist the Dragon Dynasty.

If he had a bit longer to think about it, he probably could have pinpointed exactly what outfit this kid belonged to, but there wasn't more time to think about it; he'd just have to be happy with being able to settle both a personal and political score in one stroke. This in mind, Ari strode over as Tiao began to speak again, calmly and purposefully but holding himself ready to explode the moment he reached his target. It was punks like these he used to be afraid of, when he was little and had yet to make himself strong, and it was time to put the fear back into another of these street-rats. The skinhead had friends with him - his type always did, they were cowards to a man - but their attention was on similar things to his own, and when they did see the behemoth heading towards their "friend" they made a point of inconspicuously scurrying off. No matter, he'd just make sure to break them, too.

"Oi!" Ari's shout finally broke the skinhead out of his illicit thoughts, but too late to avoid the inevitable. The very instant his head snapped up to focus on the giant, a boulder-like fist pulverised his nose and sent him to the floor with a strangled yelp and a gout of dark blood. The impact alone, along with the sound of cartilage smashing inward and a nearly two hundred pound form striking the hard floor, drew plenty of attention, but Ari wasn't quite done there. As the skinhead clutched his shattered and bleeding nose, moaning and whimpering from the pain, Ari's massive foot rose up and came crashing down between his legs; if there were any eyes other than Tiao's not on him by then, the resultant scream surely drew them. On the other hand, their friend's plight seemed to finally stir some action out of the other two skinheads.

"Fucker!" The second punk was massively obese, and the buttons on his blazer threatened to burst from his bulk, but what he lacked in athleticism he seemed to make up for in guts. After all, not too many would have the courage to respond to Ari's actions by cursing him out and then going on the attack. Despite that, the neo-Nazi forfeited any respect Ari may have had for him when he first shaved his head, and the giant only saw him as an interloper that needed to be crushed.

The fat skinhead fancied himself a wrestler, and began to shoot in for a takedown attempt, but Ari was prepared for that, and met the punk's lunge with a slight sprawl backward. His arms hooked under the skinhead's own, and his knee fired up.

CRACK

Ari wasn't quite sure what gave way, but something did, and Ari's knee came away with a good deal of blood on it. However, this proved no deterrent, as he struck again.

CRACK

The skinhead's jaw made a rather worrying sound, and fragments of teeth fell to the floor. Like his friend, any screams or cries the skinhead was going to make turned into a vaguely pained groan.

CRACK

One of the skinhead's cheekbones broke. At least, that's what it felt like. By this point, the skinhead had gone limp, making only token struggles and gurgling weakly, which was starting to piss Ari off a tad. The giant suddenly let go and stepped back, seeming to allow his opponent to fall forward. Before the skinhead could do so much as stagger or hold a hand to his smashed and bleeding face, however, a huge fist struck the side of his head and laid him low. Ari was soon to follow, as he dropped onto the skinhead and brought down a relentless barrage of punches.

Flesh, bone, and cartilage were smashed by the onslaught, over and over until the giant's hands began to come away covered in pulpy blood. Cries of pain faded to nothing but desperate gasps for breath from a destroyed nose and jaw. Wild flailing and attempts to wrestle his way out turned into convulsions and the occasional twitch, as the skinhead's body gave up even the most feeble attempts at fighting back. People screamed and backed away from the mauling, with a couple even running out of the gym to get help, but Ari was oblivious to it all.

The wet smacks, thuds, and crunches took over his hearing, and his vision focussed on the face that was getting harder and harder to recognise as human. It was at this point that, if he were paying attention, Ari would have noticed a somewhat peculiar feeling; namely, he was starting to have fun reducing the man under him to a fine paste. A manic grin spread, and soon bared all of his teeth while his fists continued to pound the stricken thug. The coppery smell of blood was all over by the time the skinhead stopped moving, and Ari could only think about one thing; he wanted more of it.

The giant slowly stood and stepped forward, letting out a harsh laugh at the students who backed away in terror. If he could, he'd have broken every single one of them, but there was no time, alas. Just behind him, the skinhead's chest was still steadily rising and falling with every laboured breath, but Ari knew just what to do about that.

CRUNCH

The sound of bone being crushed by a foot stomping down with nearly three hundred pounds of raw power behind it drew another yelp from many of the students around, and more made for the doors. The punk jerked one last time, and then went still. The chest's rise and fall ceased abruptly, leaving only the blood to pool.

Where's the other one...?

Ari snarled as he stepped forward and ran his eyes across the crowd again. The third skinhead seemed to have disappeared in the confusion, but Ari knew he couldn't have just vanished. No matter; if he was too cowardly to show himself, he'd just-

His train of thought was derailed quite abruptly at that point, as something large and orange smacked into the side of his head and knocked it (his head, that is) aside for a second. Ari rapidly turned to his left in order to face the new threat, and ignored the basketball as it rolled away, locking eyes with the third skinhead. Maybe he'd been wrong about the punk not having any guts, but it would just make things worse for him, in the end.

The skinhead had been expecting Ari's first charge, and rolled out of the way in time, but was probably caught off guard by Ari's speed at turning to face him. With a cheer from the Dragon Dynasty members, and a disappointed moan from some of the other students watching, the giant smashed into the skinhead from behind, taking him to the floor with a rugby tackle.

The impact knocked the wind out of his opponent, and cracked the much smaller man's head against the ground hard enough that he very nearly passed out then and there, but Ari wasn't finished there; after a few more punches to the back of the head to make sure the man was stunned, Ari got up and drove a series of hard kicks into the skinhead's side, only letting up when he began to feel the ribs give way. As the skinhead groaned and tried to curl in on himself, one arm pressing against the injured side, Ari looked up at his employer to see if Tiao would give him a signal to stop. However, the large brute saw nothing, and grinned as he brought his attention back to his victim. A stomp to the back jolted the skinhead awake, just as Ari bent down and took the man's free arm by the wrist, pulling upwards once he'd stepped off the skinhead's back.

"What the hell are you doing? Get off me!" The skinhead began to thrash around, in an attempt to throw Ari off, but the giant's grip couldn't be broken, and defiance turned into panicked begging as Ari's fingers wrapped around one of the skinhead's own. "Hey, what're you fucking doing?! Get off! Please, st-"

Snap

The skinhead's pleads turned into a blood-curdling scream as Ari bent his finger as far back as it would go, cracking the bones and mangling the joints. Without flinching, Ari went on to the second finger, and then the third, breaking each with barely any hesitation. He would likely continue until he'd broken all ten fingers, if some arsehole hadn't kicked him in the back.

As it were, he stumbled forward for a moment, before he let his prey go and turned around to find out just who had a death wish. It was easy to recognise Seth Calloway and William Fletcher, even if Ari didn't have any personal experience with either; either way, the less bloodthirsty part of his mind wondered just what the two wanted. It would've been so easy to reach out and snap Seth's neck, but no, he could tell there was more to this than it seemed. Ari cast another look Tiao's way, but this time the question was obvious.

Do you want me to break them?

Tiao Lei Shen continued his speech towards the new gym teacher, seemingly ignoring Ari and his rampage. He didn't need to watch. The shouts and smacks rebounding off the walls in the gymnasium made it apparent Ari had done as he was told. Tiao had faith in Ari's capabilities. Even if the man was to get blindsided, it wouldn't last very long based on who was here at the period's start. That, however, didn't take into account those who showed up late.

Even before the voice spoke up, Tiao began to turn around. The orient calls it chi or ki sensing. The superstitious call it foresight. Whatever one calls it, Tiao felt the familiar presence and turned around just in time to see the face as he began to talk.

"Seth Calloway."

Tiao Lei Shen placed his right hand in his gym sweat's pocket, letting his left arm hang lazily. Switching attention from the whole to the individual, Tiao grinned to one side of his face. He paused a moment to soak in the situation. Tiao thought he briefly remembered hearing about Seth's transfer, but couldn't distinguish if that was a false memory based on his sheer lack of surprise for him being here. In the end, it didn't matter. It may complicate things in the future, but in the meantime, it was amusing at the least. Holding up his left hand for just a moment, Tiao placed Ari on a temporary hold as he continued.

"Ironic. Me playing the villain, and you the noble hero. It must be bizzarro world for some, huh? You can't honestly say you're as surprised as that. Of all people, Calloway, you should appreciate filling in playing whatever role the student body needs."

Tiao Lei Shen would pause a moment before letting his grin fade as he narrowed his eyes on Seth.

"But let's be serious. Right now its my token big guy versus yours. That doesn't even account for me, and we both know the only time you get your hands dirty is when you wipe the shit off your shoes when someone else has put down the dog. I don't see enough manpower here for you to think you can leash me and mine." Tiao Lei Shen briefly shot Ari a glance, letting him know to be ready should Seth decide push comes to shove afterall.

"Darren was the only reason I didn't tear your throat out years ago. Are you confident enough that something will keep me from doing so now?"

(Will said to skip him unless it came to something he needed to react to, so don't bother waiting for him.)

The Asian man's amusement would not be mirrored in Seth Calloway's face, as the larger boy's expression held an air of disappointment. He knew full well what Tiao was capable of, including his rather explosive temper, but the sight of him actually trying to take control rather than act as someone's loyal soldier was strange enough to keep Seth from immediately falling into his usual behaviour.

Of course, such a surprise would only affect him for so long, and in response to the gang leader's initial comment of villains and heroes, Seth would shrug casually, neither agreeing or disagreeing with the idea. Tiao's continuation of threats would be met with an almost disinterested gaze, Seth's slowly narrowing eyes remaining on the gang leader, though he made no move to interrupt or respond to any comments quite yet. Instead, the Amber Fox would fish out his lighter from his right pocket, setting the tip of the as-yet unlit cigarette hanging from his mouth aflame before dropping the plastic container back into his pocket. A slow, deep drag would fill the silence after Tiao's question, before Seth finally found it appropriate to answer, his words accentuated by the smoke coming from between his smiling lips.

"Darren...? Oh yes, I remember. He was the School Captain back in those days. Did you know that he challenged me on the day Principal MacMillian was murdered? Such an odd coincidence that he disappeared from the school after that."

Flicking the ashes from his smoke on the gym floor, Seth took a moment to let the words sink in. That night had been one to celebrate, despite the fact it had taken a long time to wash the blood out of his shirt.

"However, old grudges aside, there's a very good reason for restraint on your part. Quite frankly Tiao, you know better. I'd like to think you've grown and matured from being someone's right hand man into a capable man in your own right. An effective leader knows full well who and what to stand up against, and when discretion is the better part of valor. Would yourself and your 'token big guy' manage to defeat Will? Perhaps, though I would have to give the advantage to the Irishman. Of course, if it were to come to such an event, I would feel obligated to give my comrade a hand. But suppose for a moment, such a thing were to come to pass, and you were to emerge victorious over the two of us? What would you gain?"

Another drag from the cigarette, giving a moment's pause.

"Murder would give you jailtime, in front of this many witnesses there would be no way around it, even with the nature of this place. Anything less would give you an entire slew of enemies to interfere with your 'control' over this Collective. This isn't San Francisco, and I don't run any sort of Revelation here. On the contrary, I'm merely a part of a much larger, and older, group of likeminded individuals. Right now, you only have myself and William's interest. Strike us down, however, and you'll earn many more such admirers, some who aren't quite as forgiving as we are."

The old Tiao, Seth knew, would have taken a swing at him right then and there, something the Sons of Judas member had mentally prepared himself for. Whether this strange new one would, however, was something that remained to be seen. Provided he did not, however, Seth would add one last bit of information, to see if Tiao was actually thinking about what had been said.

"As I said, I normally wouldn't really care what you do. I'm simply pointing out that statements of ownership over this Collective come with a certain... responsibility. I'd hate to see you unprepared, if you were to offend someone with that concept."

{ I hope I’m not shattering any sort of post order we’ve got going on here, guys. }

Her moment of truth had arrived.

It was in the form of a measly high school gym class, sure, but it was here (here, queer and out of control) and she was sure as hell gonna grab it by its horns before it stampeded away. Even in the change room, she pulled her patterned stockings over her pearly legs with a vengeance, effectively concealing any stray scars that may have found their way to her legs. Despite gym class being a place for baggy clothes and little care for apparel, Lain made sure she was in tip-top fashion-shape; this was the only time in John C. Fremont High where she actually got to choose how she presented herself, and so she emerged in the middle of a crowd of other chicks clad in… a lifeless shade of brown.

Way to make a statement, Lain.

Fashion handicap aside, Lain wasn’t here to look pretty. She didn’t care that her hair was arranged in sausage roll pigtails or that her it was a delicate mix of chocolate brown and honey blond; she only cared that this was gym class, and not only was it her very first gym class ever, it was her first gym class at John C. Fremont High. And only a few moments in, that much was painfully obvious.
Just as she receded into a run, her run effectively ended; some Chinese boy who was fairly close by was already mouthing off. Well, that took a total of .5 seconds.
And would miss brunette-teacher be able to inject some order back into this chaos?

Well, Lain didn’t seem to think so.

And when the so-far unnamed boy spouted off about the professor’s personal life… well, that miffed her. Hard. But someone else took the reigns before she could; Seth Calloway, if she’d heard the words right.

And out of the blue, there was seemingly a clash of the titans; most of the normies in the high school were staying back, and unfortunately that wasn’t keeping them out of of harm’s way.. In fact, some fairly burly man was picking his way through the weaker masses and quite literally breaking them. Unsettling? Very much so… but at least she wasn’t trapped in a cage with this one.

Just as she thought the class couldn’t get anymore - ahem - exciting, she noticed Seth had a cigarette poised between his lips and was just chugging away on it., slow rolls of smoke climbing their way towards the ceiling.

And so it was decided. This class was made of dogs on the loose; one dude was smoking, one was effectively mouthing the teacher, one was smacking kids around like they were flies… and as her emerald greens watched the little rebels, they sparkled with envy and opportunity.
It was time for Lain to become a dog.
Hopefully her teeth would be sharp enough.

Taking a few eloquent steps into the innards of the crowd - where Seth and Tiao were encompassed - she made her way more-so towards Seth and his right-hand man than towards Tiao, and hopefully that would symbolize her current allegiance.

Hey, you,” she gave a prompt, self-sufficient head flip in Tiao’s direction, hopefully capturing the guy’s attention, “shouldn’t you be off raising your GPA somewhere, asian boy?” Way to make a stab at the ethnicity there, Lain. “It’s teach’s business who she spreads her legs for… unless ‘ya wanted to be in there yourself. I can see it now: big bad thug disrespects teachers just to go home and think of them when he’s all alone in his bedroom. Aint that cuuute?” Lips tugged upwards in a Chesire grin, and quick glance over her shoulder revealed that nobody of particular interest was behind her (especially not either of the big burly scary looking guys)… and she would prefer to keep it that way, especially since her fate rested completely in this moment’s hands. She did not want to be known as the girl who spoke up in gym and then got shot down by Zeus and strung still-alive onto a rope by Jesus and fed to a pack of coyotes or something… although that would be undeniably awesome if it happened to anyone but her.

And one thing I’ve learned about top dogs, per se, is that they don’t stay top for very long.” Of course, in all actuality, she was completely biased. All she’d seen of either of these dudes was what had been displayed so far in the confines of these walls, and between the dude who was releasing his own personal hound on her classmates and the dude privately inhaling cancer, it was obvious which one was currently more innocent.

For the first time her footing was sprinkled with the slightest edge of uncertainty as she took a couple more subtle steps toward mister Seth Calloway, and as she did so she made sure to at least attempt to lock eyes with mister likes-to-smoke-in-class. She was trying to read his danger-o-meter; she was like a kid edging curiously towards a volcano that was could erupt at any moment.
Except she was trying to make friends with the volcano.

Several things dropped into her mind.

What if this guy isn’t looking for any help?
What if he’s offended and thinks I think he NEEDS my help and ends up turning on me?
Did I just make a big mistake?
What if I’m a paranoid little bitch?
...
Did I leave the stove on?!

Lain very quickly realized the reality that she had woven; if Seth decided he didn't want anything to do with little ol' Lain, this could all turn on her and she could quite possibly leave this room armless, considering team Tiao over there was harboring a student with arms bigger than her thighs.

Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease.

That was it, she had enough! She had to get her class back in order! She was the teacher dammit and she would not tolerate this! It was not Seth or Tiao that was bothering her, it was the huge guy hurting her students that she had enough of! She may have been picking a terrible fate, but she had to stand up for her students and protect them. Even if she failed, at least she’d feel better for trying.

She looked towards Tiao and Seth, looking at each boy before keeping her focus on Tiao to speak,
“Sorry to interrupt you boys, but Tiao, I want you to call off that boy or there will be trouble!”

Yup, she threatened him, and she knew where this was gonna go. She would get her ass kicked, there were no doubts about that one.

And then a female student came in the picture. As she spoke, Xian couldn’t help but sigh slightly.
‘Again with my sex life… will people just let it go….’ She thought, and as Lain finished her sentence, Xian’s eyes just couldn’t help but widen.
“I would hope not!” she exclaimed. The thought of any of her students having some kind of ‘thing’ for her was just a disgusting thought; especially if they did stuff to themselves with her in mind. A quick mental image just couldn’t help but flash in her head, making the Chinese woman wince slightly and quickly shake the thought away. It was probably the most disgusting thing that could ever come to mind.

The girl finished off what she had to say, and that was the time she would continue with her authority.
“Alright! I want this class back in order Tiao! And I mean it! So call off your friend now so we can get these boys to the nurse! I will nto tolerate this any longer!”

“DAMN MY TINY ASIAN BODY.”

Okay, Dagny wasn't super tiny, but she sure didn't fit in the guys' uniform she just took from one of the lockers she broke into. Due to things escalating in the gym, she internally debated whether or not she should skedaddle in the larger-than-she uniform and have a tailor fix it to fit... Rather than waste time breaking into another locker in hopes of having a smaller size. It was interesting listening to the exchange about role reversal and whatnot though. It shed light on what was going on here in San Diego and how life went on without her, so to speak. Lots of changes... She broke into another locker and tried on another uniform. This one was a smaller fit. It was still a bit dig, but she wasn't gong to complain when her luck decided to give her a small break. Small being the right word alright since she was going to thoroughly wash this uniform when she gets home—It must've belonged to someone who got up and about a lot, to put it in the less disgusting way possible. The Vietnamese ex-stuntwoman was shoving the larger uniform into her backpack when Lain spoke up.

I... I kinda take offense to that comment, getting ethnicity involved and all. You're lucky I'm not a student in there or I'd knock out your teeth. Actually, you're very lucky I don't know you (yet) or I'd be snatching everything in your locker for the lulz and Photoshopping whatever pictures you have of yourself onto the bodies of explicit porn and distributing 'em all over the Interwebz. Oh, and I'm sure my 4chan buddies would like to get involved too. They've been itching to...

Dagny zipped up her backpack and paused mid-thought. Actually... If she REALLY wanted to do some Anonymous harm to people, she sure was in a place to do it. She looked around and lo and behold, lockers, lockers, lockers. Everyone was distracted in the gym, so why not? A grin crawled onto her features behind the swine flu mask and Dagny promptly got to work, breaking into everyone's lockers to steal every single cellphone, wallet, camera, and ipod she could get her hands onto...

Valencia is dead. In her place, a true, blue poltergeist bearing the name Dagny.
