Personal Information:
School: Henry Knox Academy
Year: senior/12

Name: Ira Rowen
Alias: Twaddley
Date of Birth: August 25 1990
Age: 19
Nationality: Canadian
Ethnicity: Dutch
Blood Type: AB-
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 135 lbs
Hair Colour: Blonde
Eye Color: Grey
Handedness: Left
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Physical Appearance:

Ira has defined soft features. She is tall and skinny, and she isn't butch or anything, considering her life she had grown with. Her hair reaches to her chest and she is blond, and that definitely was random considering her parents had black hair. Her eyes are grey and will sometimes turn blue if she were to cry or if her eyes just plainly teared up from laughing. Her smile is very welcoming and has a perfect set of straight white teeth. Her body is toned and in shape, but as mentioned before, not butchy.

Apparel & Accessories:

Her style changes through what she feels like wearing. Never is she wearing something of one style. One day her outfit could be conservative with a business women type attire, then the next day she is showing skin with a short skirt and a tattered looking tank top. She has four piercings. One in each ear, tongue, and belly button. Shoes range from flip flops, to flats, then to converse high tops.

Personality:

~Pyromaniac- A type of mania, pyromania is an impulse to deliberately start fires to relieve tension and typically includes feelings of gratification or relief afterward.

Pyromania is a very rare disorder, and the incidence of it is less than one percent in most studies; also, pyromaniacs are a very small proportion of psychiatric hospital admissions. Pyromania can occur in children as young as age three, but it is rare in adults and rarer in children. Only a small percentage of children and adolescents arrested for arson have pyromania. Ninety percent of those diagnosed with pyromania are male. Based on a survey of 9,282 Americans using the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual on Mental Disorders, 4th edition, impulse-control problems such as gambling, pyromania and compulsive shopping collectively affect 9% of the population. And a 1979 study by the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration found that only 14% of fires were started by pyromaniacs and others with mental illness.

~Aside from that all, she is a very chatty girl and also has her foot in her mouth continuously. It won't bother her conscience too much if she were to say something mean to someone, but she usually has good intentions. She gets her name Twaddley for talking a lot. Ira also looks at the world through her own eyes and not how everyone else sees it. Everything she will take the time to observe will have a deeper meaning to it and her imagination will run wild.. and that also helped her cause for pyromania. The reason why she wouldn't care if her words hurt you, is because she believes you should suck it up like all the pain she had gone through.

Miscellaneous Information:

Ira is poetic and will write poems whether they be crap or not. She doesn't smoke because she likes it or is addicted, but she does it so she has a reason to see a lighter flick off. Of course her favourite thing is fire... it is mostly because she feels so inspired by it... she can connect it to just about anything. She never really picked up any hobbies and such for being in jail for a long period of time. She is also not allowed to have anything that can cause flame without supervision.

Combat:
Grades:
Strength:D
Dexterity:C
Constitution:B
Wisdom:C

Style: Isshin Ryu Karate. She had taken this because it was the only sport she was interested in and her parents were forcing her into a healthy hobby. She hated soccer and such so yeah, this was more fun. Now she does, in fact, and ninja skills and can kick ass, Kill Bill style.
Weaknesses: Obsession of fire, conversations of her father. She isn't too strong.
Strengths: Fire, can go awhile before tiring. Can handle a lot of pain.

History: Ira grew up in a small town. She didn't hang out with many children. they always avoided her for many reasons that usually tied to one thing; She was weird. Her imagination would always get the best of her and fall into endless chats with other children or even when she was by herself playing with an imaginary friend.

From as long as she could remember she had an infatuation with fire. The flicking flames continuously alluded her. She would usually sit and stare at a burning candle or enjoy stick wooden objects in it to see it char and grow little orange embers. This was before she knew her obsession had a name and before anyone really noticed her liking to fire.

She was put karate as a kid, but never really enjoyed it, but it was better than soccer. She was one of the best in her group and so when she won a trophy, four days after her 12th birthday, at a tournament, her family and her went out for dinner to celebrate. The candle on the table caught her attention and she was no longer engaged in any conversation. She wanted to witness more fire and see it envelope any object in its path. Ira then mocked a stomach ache and said she would walk home (It being a small town it wasn't a far walk, 15 minutes at the most) The family would stay out and enjoy their night while Ira sat in her room, flicking a lighter on and off.

Then Ira strode outside in a zombie like fashion and dumped gasoline on their back porch. She lit a match and let it fall. The fire grew large and warm and a sudden yell made her jump. She turned to see her dad running at her. At first he assumed she was in danger, though once he drew near, it came apparent she was the cause of the massive fire that was now destroying their home.

The police arrived and Ira's father lied for her safety and well being, saying that he didn't know what happened. Later they found out the insurance for the home was high and found how the fire started through tests. It was man made with gasoline. Due to her father's lies, he was accused for being and Arsonist. He was sentenced to five years and during that time Ira felt highly responsible and empty. She grew cold to others around her, but still managed to talk a lot, hiding her pain and guilt. Now living with it for so long, she was losing her conscience and wouldn't care if she was hurting someone with the words she spoke.

Also, her love of fire never ended. Everyone began to recognize this and two years after her father was sentenced to jail, they reopened the case. Ira was fourteen but was stuck in jail and given and adult trial. She was given five years in prison and this would only make her grow more distant from reality. She would talk more to herself, feeling she needed company continuously. She even practiced her karate to help keep her busy. They decided she was a special case and it was rare to be a pyro, and being convicted with an adult trial... she was able to have a councilor/teacher come in to visit her.

She completed as much school as she could, though she still managed to fall behind, given the circumstances. She was nineteen and still in grade twelve level of school when she was finally released. Her family isolated her, she was like an alien in her own home. She wasn't the same little girl and they were so used to living with out her. She discovered her father had committed suicide a year after she was in jail. Everyone failed to tell her this, but they avoided it, because it was by her expense. He killed himself 'cause he didn't want to see his baby girl suffer in jail. Now she had that on her back along with the guilt she had for getting him in jail in the first place.

Ira's passion for fire still lingered, but she managed to hide it well. Though her mom knew she was yet not well, and wanted to ship her off on her last year to military school. It would show discipline and also public, private, or boarding schools would not take her in. So now to this present day, she is at Henry Knox Academy.
