[glow=red,2,300]Welcome to October[/glow]

Hell has begun it's arrival in San Diego. To celebrate we have Blackout! An SDCFL Internet live-stream promotion containing five brutal matches against the best fighters from San Diego and Chula Vista.

---October 30th, 20XX---

The SDCFL arena is packed yet again. Two floors of a crowd chanting, screaming, and thrilled for the nights competition of blood, carnage, and the best fighters on the West Coast. Their second event, Blackout! is shaping out to be the best yet.

Slowly the announcer makes his way to the squared circle. A simple ring set up surrounded by guard rails for the crowd and a single announcement table. The night has begun.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, on behalf of the SDCFL welcome to BLACKOUT!"

Another roar echoed through out the packed to capacity arena. Excitement filled the air on the day before Halloween. It was time to start the party.

"It is now time for our opening match! Please welcome the challenger. Weighing in at 124 pounds, and standing at 5 feet, 3 inches. Aleece Fontecilla!"

---Aleece's posted entrance---

"Now please welcome her opponent. The current SDCFL Womens Fighting Champion, weighing in at 129, and standing height of 5 foot 4, Lily "The Banshee" Lawless!"

---Lily's posted entrance---

The crowd soon settled. The two opponents now in their respective places to begin their bout. Two women would enter this match, one would leave the winner, and the other the loser. To the winner would go the white leather, silver plated title belt and the title of best female fighter in Southern California.

---Announcer Team---

Joe Style: Welcome to Blackout folks, I'm Joe Style, and my broadcasting partner, Ken "The General" Savory.

Ken Savory: Thank you Joe, and we got one hell of an opening match.

Joe Style: Right you are, Ken. Tonights opener is Lily Lawless and Aleece Fontecilla!

Ken Savory: Lily won her first match last July at Ground Zero in one punch! And now she has her first defense, lets she how she and her similarly sized opponent duke it out.

Joe Style: Ya'know that victory could be argued! I mean that was an extremley fast count...anyways here we go, the match is under way and I'm looking forward to one hell of a cat fight.

*DING*

(ooc: Aleece, first, then Lily. For match rules look here

Why was she here doing this exactly? She remembered a brief conversation with Roth, something about the San Diego Championship Fighters League and what they were about...but it must have been a slip in sanity or...diving into insanity, because she couldn't quite believe she was standing here right now, a cold chill running down her spine despite the hot lights shining on her. Yeah, she was nervous as hell and quite honesty she wanted to turn and high tail it.

What in the hell did she think she was doing? She hadn't been drunk, she was fairly certain anyways, and it couldn't have been drugs, she didn't have the money for that....

...okay insanity it was then. But still Aleece realized she might be coming out of it because she realized there was no way she was going to survive this. They were going to be carrying her out on a stretcher, she just knew it. Especially up against Lily Lawless, was it? Did she hear right? The current Woman's Fighting Champion...right...she was dead.

The cold clenching in her stomach couldn't be anything else but nerves and she fisted her hands at her side as she made her way to the center of the ring. She felt her skin breaking out in a anxious sweat so the black puma work out pants and bra top she wore doing nothing to put a damper on that. Her hair was pulled up and away from her face and she hoped she didn't look every bit of the nervous, no experience with fighting, school girl she was...

If she made it out of here in one piece without her face being rearranged permanently she would work on getting a therapist to scrutinize her current mental stability.

((ooc - omg =_= take it easy on me lol. First fight, literally, for both me and the muse =/))

(ooc: Heh, it should be okay. I'm not much of a fighter either.)

Lily was always nothing more then the outcast girl with a crazed temper. She never really had much for friends, and no real desire to have many of them. But now, all within the span of a month the lonely girl had an entire fandom. It was, well, just weird. Nobody had ever followed her or even knew her name, but now since Ground Zero she was a local celebrity.

Lily didn't know how to take it all in at first. She laid low for a long time since her oddly placed victory against Sable Vermilion. Slowly she became more accepting of her fame, and by now she was loving the attention. Lily Lawless, SDCFL Womens Champion. It had a nice ring to it.

Last night some of her more 'dedicated' fans threw her a party. She was never a party girl, but the attention and stardom made he crack. It was fun, getting a wild party thrown for you...until you get softly pushed and flip out on the guy putting him in a hospital that night. Thats what made her dangerous. Her wild mood swings and military upbringing.

Now here it was. Her first title defense against a girl named Aleece. Through the little amount of studying she did on this girl she only found that they were similar in build, and they both had little fighting experience. Maybe this time should could actually receive a challenge.

"Now please welcome her opponent. The current SDCFL Womens Fighting Champion, weighing in at 129, and standing height of 5 foot 4, Lily "The Banshee" Lawless!"

"Huh?" Lily's soft voice echoed a little bit through the small dingy locker room. She was getting herself dressed and ready for her first defense. She was wearing a small purple get-up she received in her locker with a small note. 'Good Luck Tonight'. She didn't know who it was from, most likely from a fighter at the company, it didn't really matter to her, she was just glad it looked good on her, although it was rather revealing. Besides the out fit she decided to go all out on her looks. Dark make-up, wet looking hair, this whole thing was based on 'gimmick' after all.

The last thing she grabbed before the small girl walked out to that ring was her title. A small and fitting silver plated, white leather belt. Although initially she didn't like it's coloring, the white made a good contrast with her outfit. She made her way out to the top of the entrance with a small pose and the crowd went wild. Mostly the male crowd and mostly because of her purple on black ensemble.

In the background of her entrance played one of the songs that she believed described her most, and of course by her favorite band. With a spring in her step and a smile on her face she climbed up the steel steps to her similar sized opponent. She looked scared, and thats when Lily's mood changed from happy to caring...and then to sadistic.

"Hey, I'm Lily. Don't be too scared, last time I didn't have to do much to win, but maybe this time we can bleed."

In all reality she didn't care how she came off. Her ego had grow exponentially since GZ and now she really did want to make something bleed. Aleece, herself, an announcer, a fan, anything...besides an animal.

This time she would really walk to her corner for the bell. She didn't wait long though, as soon as that opening bell rung it's high pitched ring Lily would be in the center of the ring waiting for this Aleece girl to meet her head on.

Aleece had been backed into her corner, her hands gripping the thick ropes of the ring on either side of her, feeling smaller and smaller especially when her opponent came out making the crowd go wild. She couldn't help but swallow thickly. What did anyone expect? This was her first real fight after all, and to boot it was going to be recorded for others amusement. She almost cringed though at the sight of Lily 'The Banshee' Lawless and that get up she was in. With a fleeting thought, almost an attempt to take a stab at some self humor, she wondered if she had come under dressed today.

Aleece's fingers tightened unable to shake the small anxious tremble that worked through her muscles from the adrenaline and at her introduction it didn't seem to help matters any that the person she up against was no only looked like a freak she was one. If anything she had never run across anyone interested in blood play yet. But still she got that the jab was meant for show (or she was hoping at least...God was she hoping), despite that however it made her duck her head down - her eyes shutting tightly.

Through rather overwhelming show of insecurity at just not having it in her to fight though she felt a spark of something else. Anger? No...she couldn't say it was that. More like irritation at herself for being so damn weak looking/being weak.

"Sorry, forgot you couldn't hit back. Usually girls put up a bigger fight, you know? Guess that makes you especially weak and stupid."

...ah, there was that familiar heat of resentment, and resolve. She remembered all right, ever sick little taunt from that night, and she didn't forget that she hadn't opened her mouth either to point a finger at him. It was her fault. Nonetheless she held onto what she was feeling - the smoldering licking heat that was slow to crawl its way up and burn through just about any other hesitation or reservations she had.

Aleece wasn't doing this to be recognized or made famous, hell thats the last thing she wanted...but what it was that she did want, she wasn't really sure. Affirmation about herself? Some confidence? Probably...

The sound of the bell ringing, startled her from her self musing and she took a quick breath in her head snapping up and pushing off from her spot just as Lily made her way to the center of the ring. She did indeed meet the current champion and as it was she didn't let herself have a chance to think about it her hands coming up in a rather defensive stance, but kept moving. Side stepping once and in closer Aleece closed the gap relatively quickly, but she didn't make to swing instead kicked her foot out looking to catch Lily right in the gut.

If anything that's were most of her strength laid (if any), as she ran everyday, the muscles were tones and corded - her best bet. If she missed, if Lily was able to get out of the way...well then, Aleece had just opened her self up to a whole new world of ass whoopin'.

Soon the adrenaline started to kick in. Again, Lily was never much of a fighter, but she was tough enough to hold her own, as proved by her newly found fame. The bell opened opened up and surprisingly to the purple and black clad freak Aleece had closed the distance rather quickly.

"Ready to have some fun?" Lily just got out those soft sugar coated words right before receiving a quick kick to her abdomen. It was powerful in her own right, but for now it would only pump her up. Lily never had a feeling like she did now, and the new found fame was something she wouldn't be surrendering easily.

Dropping to one knee the pretty in purple girl made a small flex in her legs. Looking up at Aleece she saw a bit of surprise in Aleece at the fact that she had done damage. In Lily's eyes were a hint of madness. Pumping her knee straight Lily swooped up wards with a righted handed uppercut heading straight for the soft chin of Aleece.

Last time she punched someone she knocked them out, even if it was a fast count out. There was hope it would happen again, but Lily knew it wouldn't. After connecting Lily would step back and turn around quickly and blow a kiss to the fans who would go wild at it.

She gave a small smile and then made her way in between the thickly coiled ring ropes and outside of the ring. Then getting down on a knee she whipped up the apron to the ring and looked for a weapon of choice.

"I guess this will do." The young girl whispered to herself as she grabbed a wooden Kendo stick and quickly made her way back into the ring. Now with luck Aleece would still be shocked with pain and unsuspecting of this new element.

"Hardcore rules count here, hope your ready." Again her soft sweet, and sarcastic smile arose. With only a few seconds to spare Lily charged with her weapon aiming a horizontal strike to the stomach of Aleece. An eye for an eye.

Okay so she was no fighter and she was slightly shocked to see that she had managed to make the girl down to one knee at least. It hadn't lasted long though, and she felt her face exploding with in a furious hot pain that left her ears ringing and her eyes watering. It had also knocked her right on her back. Now...she had managed to stay conscious when she had been decked for everything she was worth by Anna, so Lily's blow resulted in about the same thing.

With her hands to her face a quiet moan left, and her mouth quickly filled with the metallic twinge of blood, twinging her jaw. Okay, she realized she was in for a whole world of ass whoopin' either way at this point. Still...so not the point. Also she realized she didn't have time to be moaning and pissing about the fist to her chin either. Aleece blinked her vision clear, hearing the dull roar of the crowd cheering on something, probably the fact she was on her ass...

She saw just in time Lily coming for her again, this time...was that a flippin' Kendo stick? "Oh, you gotta be kidding me," she moaned out, somewhat slurred and winced when she just didn't lay there and take the hit. That...that would have been kind of stupid.

Rolling hard to the right she felt the rush of air of the wooden stick coming very close leaving a chill down her spin. "Chingado!" she hissed as she reached for the bottom rope and pulled herself more out of the way, swinging her legs and forcing herself out of the ring completely stumbling a bit and turning still a bit unsteady from the knock she had received in the first place. She felt her butt hit the announcers table and her hand instantly gripped the edge, right at the corner. She looked for all the world some cornered up pray.

Now...come and get dinner, freak...Aleece thought to herself, breathing a little unsteadily all the while ignoring the two her commentating the whole thing. 'Come on,' she urged silently as her fingers crept to the side of her and she lifted the other to cradle her face, slumping a little and hopefully looking more worse for wear then she felt. (Though there was no denying the swimming in her head.) This at any point where she would be hoping for help or hell...just running away but those two options were out of the equation for her...

Nonetheless, she felt her fingers bump into something cool, hard and metal. A folding chair? Well shit that would work...She didn't know where Lily had gotten the Kendo stick so she was defiantly grasping at straws. She supposed she should have read the fine printer a little better... Aleece would wait for hopefully the girl in purple to climb her way out of the ring to follow, maybe seeing an opening, and if that was the case she would be ready. She would wrench the chair out from being tucked under the table and drop her hand getting a better grip taking a wild wide swing at Lily.

There was a good chance she would hit her opponent with it, but then again she could have grossly misjudged and would just get a face full of something she wouldn't like.

If Lily decided to not come down she would still be waiting right where she was at, refusing to place herself back in that ring with the purple banshee. But...she clearly liked to give the fans something pretty close to something entertaining to watch. And hey...what was one girl with no fighting experience compared to the current woman's champion?

((ooc...hmmm I feel I might have toed a line I shouldn't have XD Lemme know if this doesn't work =/))

OOC: Sorry for the lateness.

IC:

"Shit."

Her kendo stick swing missed it's mark and slammed hard on the mat. Lily wasn't very strong, but she could feel the feedback of the vibration in her hands with a slight sting. Thats when her mood went from competitive to angry. In a fit of rage Lily whipped her weapon away into the crowd. She didn't care for her surroundings and could now tune most of it out.

Now she looked around. No sign of her opponent, Aleece. Lily blew out a hard sigh, blowing some hair out of her face. The only place left to look was down below. Within moments the purple clad girl slipped under the bottom rope to the floor in search of her prey. Unfortunately, there was no sign of her on that side.

"Aleece, it's time to come out and play."

After a few moments of walking about she saw Aleece cornered up against the announcer table. All at once Lily saw her chance to pounce. Immediately she ran at Aleece ready to tackle her right through the announcers table. Her breath began to get heavy as her legs rushed forward. Then from a small gleam she saw Aleece's chair. Lily tried to stop, but got too close. All at once her left side (mostly her arm and shoulder) was pelted by the cold hard steel of the folding chair.

Lily's small build was sent flying into the steel bar barrier. Her ribs folded against the barrier where the crowd began to cheer and grab at Lily. She didn't know who or how, but some had given her the Kendo stick back.

Now in rage and pain Lily shoved herself off the barrier and turned quickly. Without conformation of Aleece in the area Lily would swing at the first thing she saw. After that first swing she would really look for Aleece. Lily was going to keep her fame and glory as long as she could.

To but it lightly Aleece was surprised at all that the chair had connected, the force behind the swing and contact ringing up her arms and making her hands tingle and drop the chair almost instantly. Slightly stooped over, and breathing pretty heavily from the adrenaline worked up she looked over to where the crowd was going absolutely crazy. Who wouldn't find this entertaining? Senseless violence as to girls tried to beat the shit out of each. Really it made perfect sense...good wholesome family fun, and all that.

Any shot she had been able to get in up till now had all been lucky shots, Aleece was sure of that much because she had no fighting experience, period. Sure there was the CQC training, but it wasn't going to do her a lot of good here. And while she was to far away from Lily for that wild blind swing to come close she was soon made aware that the other girl had regained her bearings and was pissed.

Not for the first time in the last five minutes or so did she think...she was going to die now. There was a hunger on Lily's face that Aleece obviously just didn't have and she was more then likely fixing to get her own ass handed to her. But she could take this all as, if it didn't kill her it would make her stronger...or some gift card dribble like that. (Okay...so even she didn't quite believe that.)

Now with nothing to defend herself and Lily with the Kendo stick...she was sort of stuck on what to do now. Where exactly had the angry resolve gone to fight and fight back with everything that she had? Apparently it was sent scurrying under a rock along with her sanity...

Grow some rocks, Fontecilla, she said to herself harshly as she straightened and backed up despite her coaching. She had a few options, make another move or get away...or as far as she could at the moment. The latter sounded great, but she really didn't want to even if it meant taking another hit. So facing Lilly, her legs tensed along with the rest of her her hands raised slightly in a weak attempt at defense or readiness as it were, and waited. She not only had to take in account of the unpredictability of her opponent but what she was currently wielding.

All that could be seen on Lily's face was anger. Frustration at the pacing of the fight and how Aleece was starting to get an upper hand on her. Lily wouldn't let it happen. For too long she had felt enclosed and in the corner, it was about damn time that she got in the open and began to shine. Even if that shine was from warm crimson blood.

Lily swung wildly as she pushed off the barrier. She hit nothing but air in the swing, but soon gained control and saw Aleece standing about 10 feet away in what seemed like a reluctant defense. Now Lily knew how she wanted to win, and hopefully it wouldn't take too long.

Taking in her surroundings she saw her next plan of attack. Grasping the kendo stick tight in her hands she began to close in. With a small sprint and leap Lily landed and began to run across the announcers table. Luckily it didn't break under her average weight with the full force running.

Right as Lily got to the edge of the table she would jump again, this time gaining as much height as possible. She would come down at Aleece, and following her purple-clad body would be a hard kendo stick strike aiming for any part of Aleece that she could get.

-

There was a few options after that attack. On the chance that Lily hit Aleece then she would land flustered on her feet with her arms grasping at the nearby ring ropes to stay up. Then she would proceed to kick Aleece in the head with a kendo strike or two.

The second option was if Aleece ran once again then Lily walk up to the announcement table and grab the microphone from whoever she could, run into the ring, and begin to call out Aleece.

"Are you going to run, or are you going to fight!? If your not going to fight then get out while you can before you break a nail!"

-

Only time would tell how the fight would progress. Would Lily get the easy way out, or would she have to continue this fight until she could get Aleece to tap-out on the mat. Who knows, maybe there'd be an off chance that there would be a new Womens Fighting Champion.

OOC: the -'s are just to show it's what could happen, not what it is.

Everything she had learned from Richard just didn't seem to stick with her when she was actually faced with a opponent hell bent on smashing her skull in, her defensive stance still weak and lacking. Sure she saw straight through the coming attack. Didn't take much brain power to see that when Lily jumped up on the announcers table that she was going to come down on her again and hope to land a blow. But with her resolve jumping around, turning solid then melting in the face of getting her ass kicked she just couldn't come to a quick enough decision.

So it was made for her.

Despite being quick on her feet, her head was pounding from that first blow, when her opponent nearly tried to remove her head from her shoulders, was still leaving her head ringing and her balance unsteady. Aleece was soft, no fighting experience what so ever aside from the couple hours of training she had built up. She had no tenacity, not like Lily, so it wasn't a surprise that she wasn't able to scramble out of the way in time.

The weapon in the other girls hands did catch Aleece, right on the top of her shoulder by her neck bringing her to her knees like a ten ton weight had slammed into her. With a choked off cry in pain she tried to steady herself her hand planting it between her knees on the floor and was sent to her back when foot met face. Even if she had been able to stay conscious the first time her vision dotted as a furious white pain rattled through her, shooting down her neck. A sharp metallic taste flooded her mouth and filled the back of her throat and she wished she could say she didn't feel the second time Lily kicked her.

Aleece knew her nose had to be broke and even if she wasn't going to attempt to open her eye one of those kicks had made her eye swell shut instantly. There was a brief thought that she might drown in her own blood because if felt like it should be gushing right now, but she was able to roll to her side blindly, either refusing or unable to open her eyes, something that seemed to happen more on instinct rather then on her own violation. With a wet moan she reached out hand her fingers brushing against the skirt of the ring and bunching in the thick material as she urged her limbs to work with her instead of flailing uselessly from her body.

Aleece really couldn't describe at this point what this all felt like...but there was one thing for sure it hurt like hell, to the point that it was all she could concentrate on, almost forgetting she was in the middle of a fight and that Lily was still out for her blood. (Which she would have pointed out...she got.)

((ooc - okay I would have loved to keep this going, but >.> Aleece is...well a wimp XD))

There the scene lay. Lily standing looking over amongst the wild crowd. Lights in her eyes and a small chant of her name. She couldn't help but enjoy it. Within only a few months of being here Lily had gone from a quiet recluse to a major competitor with a fan base. And there lay Aleece. Beaten and now bloodied on the floor next to Lily. The purple-clad girl couldn't help but feel sorrow for having done such damage to what seemed like a first time fighter.

"Alright, let's try to end this quick."

Lily gave a few small stretches to analyze the damage done to her. The bruises that would no doubt appear from the kick, barrier and chair shot were starting to swell up pretty good. Lily looked down at Aleece as she tried to get up. It was almost heart breaking to see her current state. The blood lust and anger was gone, now she just wanted it all to end.

Lily tossed her kendo stick to the ground and then focused on Aleece. Grabbing the beaten girl from under her shoulders Lily would direct her upper body under the bottom rope. Once that was good She would grab her from her waist and roll her opponent back into the ring.

She stood there again for a moment. She was sweating pretty good from the lights, fighting and body heaving. There was no way she could say that Aleece hadn't put up a good fight. After her moment Lily climbed back into the ring through the top and middle ropes.

With Aleece laying there with closed eyes she would give a light kick to her lower back. Using the kicking right foot Lily would stand over the back of Aleece, bend over, grab both of her legs wrapping them around her own left leg, and finally grab onto both of her wrists. Aleece would hang by her arms with chance of only a small struggle. Lily then lightly planted her right foot on the upper back of Aleece and leaned in with a whisper.

"Turn your head and tuck it in"

Lily would give Aleece only a few seconds to do so as she would bring her foot down with half force and releasing her wrists. That one was really only for show. At that point she had no more intention of seriously damaging Aleece.

Once her move proved successful Lily freed her left foot and backed up to the nearest turnbuckle. It was the refs call now. She wondered if Aleece would or even could pass the 10 count.

Aleece couldn't even be bothered to jerk away when she felt someone hauling her up, not exactly rough, but she wasn't exactly expecting tender loving care here. She had a split second to get her legs under her after her attempt to stand on her own was helped along before she felt her self being literally rolled back in the ring. She couldn't do anything against the action, nothing to stop it and with her eyes still glued shut (or so it felt like) she came to a stop just inside the ring. If she heard Lily's words she didn't show any sign of comprehending any of it.

Still drowning in her own aches at the moment and wondering when it was going to end, Aleece was barely able to take in anything over the ringing in her ears or the pounding pain, which made itself known with every rushed thud of her pulse. There was the undeniable heat from the flooding lights centered on them in the ring, the chant from the crowd, and the feel of the mat moving as Lily stepped around her. She managed to crack her good eye, it seemed just as she was pushed to her stomach, a sense of something that couldn't be described as anything less then foreboding, clenching at her gut.

But she remembered...she had to be counted out, either from being at the point of unconsciousness or tap out. Well she certainly didn't have the energy to tap anything, and her subtle but slight movements, as she was manipulated in a position that was entirely to awkward, clued in anyone watching that she hadn't dropped over that dark edge quite yet. Close...but no cigar; how unfortunate for Aleece.

When she was wrestled up, and left to dangle there limply, her head hanging she choked out a cough, almost wheezing at the constriction it left on her chest. Not with enough wits about her, she barely caught the suggestion to what, in hindsight, was to lessen the damage. She managed to turn her face though, but it was harder then she thought it would be as he head felt like a ten ton weight. After that it didn't matter if Lily had made her next move with only a fraction of the strength she had to do it...it still chalked up another pain she would be feeling in the morning...was feeling.

There wasn't even the slightest thought to move again, the edges of her already darkened vision dotting with white spots, and leaving her to wonder if she had a brain tumor to have agreed to this. Maybe it was the fact she knew that no matter what kind of self defense training she got, from who, she was still lacking experience...and just needed to get tougher. Panting in shallow breaths there against the stained mat, but she didn't move. Survival instincts still in tact she knew that even if she could get up...she was in no condition to be doing anything...and would more then likely be knocked right back down again.

So she waited for that count from the referee, which came quite quickly - the man in the uniform sliding to the mat next to her ducked his head down giving a speculating look before slamming his hand down to sound off the ten count. Aleece really didn't feign barely being aware of anything at the moment, other then quick procession of numbers before he popped up and yelled the winner, Lily.
