After her investigation with Eric and other stuff, Rebecca has gone back to her habit of late night wanderings. At least it's finally cold out to feel like December, and the crisp air keeps her awake. Which is good, considering her sleep tends to suck anymore.
She heads out of the dorm building with no particular goal in mind!
Becca takes a moment to just stare, looking to see what's on the screen and if the guy's wearing a headset for signs of if he's a late night gamer, or yelling at the computer. If that's the case, she kind of hope it yells back.
"Dude, chill!" Rebecca's eyes go wide as the keyboard his hefted in her direction. Her hands go up in front of her, palms facing the guy as she waves them in an erratic 'don't do it' manner.
She raises her brows, daring to take a step forward, but only one. She doubts that was a joke. It wouldn't be, if it had hit her.
"Yeah, right up until you realize you hurt its feelings." A joke? Maybe. Her hands drop to her sides, not sure she wants to get any closer despite her curiosity. She opts to nod at the screen instead.
"You do realize rage typing will probably just keep you locked out, right?"
"I know someone who would disagree." Rebecca puts more stock in Fred and her abilities than whoever this guy is. She's surprised it takes him this long to realize she's a stranger, blinking at teh dramatic change. At least his once-over isn't as rude.
"Rebecca Jefferson. Junior agent. You?" She tilts her head to the side, convinced keeping her distance was the right choice.
"I think you need more help than I do." A single finger points at the screen. She's pretty sure any help she might need won't be coming from Josh. Not that she knows of, anyway.
She's not sure if she should laugh or walk away. This guy was nuts.
"Nothing?" Actually, she looks over her shoulder for a moment, wondering how quickly she can bolt before he inserts himself in her life to 'help' somehow.
"Just gong for a walk. It happens. Heard the banging and wondered what was breaking."
God help her, but as much as she's mad at him, Becca misses Silas in that moment. Josh just makes her want to bang her head against a wall and see which one dents first.
"I take walks when I please." She scowls. "Last I checked, that wasn't a crime."
