She laughs at that, relaxing a little as he shares the thought she had while getting in.
"Don't worry, she's safe. I'm working on control, but otherwise." Again the fingers splay, this time indicating the gloves she's wearing. "It's only organic stuff."
"Yeah. It's been rough." She nods, not bothering to deflect or play it down. Her hands fall back into her lap as she looks at him. Her thoughts fall back on Fiona and their recent encounter.
"But I've seen some who have it worse, you know?" A small frown as she looks down at her hands. "I've still got a long way to go, but I've been here a few months, and it's shown me that control is possible at all. That's more than I had before."
"Maybe." She nods, applying the theory to her power and not other stuff life throws at you. She looks at the pillar, or the direction of it, then back at Rhett.
"How often do you play against that pillar?" He really waits that long?
Huh. Well, at least it wasn't a new expedition for her first time. As fun as that might sound, Becca would rather not wind up in the infirmary or something because she tried not to be the bigger chicken.
"True." She takes a moment to absorb the fact that he just mentioned more than one outing and she had basically said she was okay with it. Still, the realization doesn't lead her to changing her mind. Definitely keeping her head low, but if Rhett's been doing it this long, it should be okay.
"Weren't we supposed to be finding you inspiration for a new hobby?" she asks with a small laugh.
"That's a good thing." She tries to come up with ideas that aren't going to bore him, but the more she thinks about it, the more Rebecca realizes she doesn't have a lot of social hobbies. Not that she may be against them...
Such an awkward turtle.
"Uh. Video editing?" Since they were watching horror films earlier. "See if you can put the original zombies to shame?"
