Years spent with his friends and family doing incredible things. Those years really had been a dream come true for him, everything he had wanted when he enlisted and more. Not that it had been without it's hardships. There were plenty of dark times, times when he wondered if he had made a mistake joining up. But God had set him on this path and made him the person he was. He could only trust that his journey was not finished. Hesitating momentarily outside of the conference room's door he debated what to project forward. A professional and serious demeanor would probably be best. They were all adults after all. He looked at his hands, aged and callous. The wedding ring around his finger dulled and no longer shining, but well worn and well aged, if well taken care of. But then again, this was a place of his childhood, as odd as that may be. "Mmm." He let out a pleased sound. He'd let himself into the once familiar conference room, striding into it as youthful as the day he had enlisted. A pleased smile fixed on his face as he scanned to see if he was the last one here or not as he took a seat. It's been a long time and there were a lot of fond memories she had with each one of them. Granted she had friction with Steve but with age came maturity and acceptance. "Yes.
