Still, she accepted the apology with a nod. She didn't doubt that eric was sincere, just overly excited, and yet that didn't excuse him from his actions having consequences. "Just...don't do it again, alright? I don't know if you've met other metas or people who don't like or can't stand it, but I'd appreciate it if you remembered from now on." So, no special education classes for me." She shrugged. "Maybe they were right. Either way, I was home-schooled for a long time. Too much risk and too many school days missed trying to get things sorted out. "We lived near a playground back then, so I was still stuck with e bullies and jerks.
