Anti-Metahuman rallies have been targeted lately by a rogue metahuman, leaving several injured and a few dead. As Paradigm agents it is of utmost importance to stop these attacks, as they only increase prejudice between the powered and unpowered.

Aaron's heard about this on the news. Even without worries about meta/non-meta tensions, this wasn't something Paradigm could allow to happen. How could he stand by and not do anything about it? He signs up for the mission!
Rather than kick out a defense person, I'll open this up to a 5th person for another intel spot if someone wanted in.
(If someone needs to get kicked out, you can kick Piper out. I'd like to be in on it, but if it makes things unbalanced, I was the last defense to post in.)
Aaron checks to see if there's any intel on where the attacks have happened, lists of suspects, anything that would help them come up with the start of a plan.
"Don't warn anybody," Piper said, leaning back. "We need to be pretty inconspicuous. If they know we're on to them, they might hide. Like cockroaches. Or they might come on stronger." She shrugged. "We need the element of surprise."
Miranda is using her phone to look up the names of the speakers, especially if there are any that have been at multiple rallies. Also, what the news has claimed the cause of death or injuries as.
"Warning anyone ahead of time might draw attention, but I imagine they already think something's going to happen just from these previous attacks. It might open some doors for us, however."
Most of the attacks have been by gunshot! There's been the sound of fire, but no bullets or casing ever recovered. There's been flashes of red light upon impact, however.
The next rally is in southern Illinois!
No persons of interest so far to be regarded as suspects!
Aaron looks into that question! He's still mulling over the question of warnings, though.
"I don't think they're going to take too kindly to us just showing up at their rally without any word, especially not if this is how they're getting attacked. I mean, everyone knows Paradigm wouldn't do this, but people get... nervous."
Who is organising the next rally? Maybe they can talk to them, and just them about it.
"People could die because we didn't tell them a killer was coming when we knew it might happen."
He sighs. They all make good arguments, putting the word out just meant something could go wrong and make the attacker go to ground, then they'd be stuck, but there's a knot in his gut at the idea of letting innocent people be at risk. Still, there was the risk anyway until they stopped this person, right?
"Fine. I don't like it, but no warnings. Did you find anything on how many people are expected there, Eithne? Or anything more specific? Southern Illinois is still half a state."
It'd be easier to find a killer in a crowd of tens or hundreds than thousands, for example.
