She waves her hand to dismiss the flattery.

Valo is surprised! Usually people take his reactions offensively somehow. He doesn't press it, though, figuring she might have just misheard him or something.

"Oh, yeah. Broccoli, spinach, things like that - I can't eat 'em. Nah, I get like, hives and start puking."

He exaggerates his distaste for greens, in hopes that she won't notice.

"Just anything that isn't prepped via boxed personal dinners from Fry's or Wal-Mart, and I won't complain."

Charlie purses her lips at his distaste for vegetables. She'd make a mental note to be creative with her recipes like what she does for her kids.
