Aaron doesn't bother telling Jack that he has no idea how to do that! He hangs up and returns, quietly, to his table, watching to see if Adam will leave his phone unattended.
Aaron gets up, quietly, goes to the biggest Chicago Paradigm student sitting nearby, and whispers in his ear!
"Hey, buddy, want a hundred bucks?"
He's good for it. "Distract those two -" he nods to Adam and Leo - "long enough for me to grab the big guy's phone, and it's yours next time I see you."
Subtle? How subtle could a green haired girl BE when running sixty miles an hour down a hallway? Her brow cocked at the text, but she sent back something simple.
Miss me already?
The, she was off, thanking her victim for listening to her, for once. It took her only a few moments, a handful of seconds, to get from where she was - a classroom not too far away - to where he needed her.
Her appearance behind him would be sudden and as quiet as she could manage. "So," she whispered. "What's with the...." She motioned to him and her phone, still in one hand. "Espionage?" She grinned.
She grinned at the arrogant dude, shaking her arms to try and rid herself of tingling. Subtle? She was not good at. She tapped Aaron on the shoulder, winking at him and shaking her phone at him. If he needed her help, just text.
"Sure." Piper moved over towards their table, running her free hand through her hair to try and calm it. Wind and dyed hair? Not a good mix. "Mind if I sit next to you?"
She smiled sweetly at Adam, tilting her head to one side.
The speedster settled in next to him, a little too close for her personal comfort, and tapped her phone gingerly against her chin. When she wanted to play cute, she could.
"Maybe." She offered him a bit of a wink, her other hand falling to the seat.
Shit. The phone. Hopefully they weren't going to have to knock this guy out for it, because that would be one hell of an undertaking. Is it the pocket by Piper?
"Yeah, we'll be there. No idea which of you lot either of us is facing though."
He keeps the smile on his face. Just lower their guard... "It's not all parties like I hear Miami is, but Chicago's a good place."
The nudge made her want to hit him. Hard. In the face. But nothing like that showed. Instead, she checked her phone, smirked, and put it in her pocket. Director Gavyns? You got it.
She leaned further into Adam, giving him what could be considered an innocent smile. She even managed the slight widening of her eyes. "Oh, really? Maybe I have something to teach you, mister."
If he'd let her, she'd brush her fingers against his hips, an obvious welcome. She seemed to ignore Aaron entirely at this point.
Aaron remembering this is espionage is what allows him to keep the pleasant expression on his face. If Piper needs a distraction, she just needs to give him a signal and these two punks will be blind as bats.
