She nods after a moment. "Like this?" Not moving, she uses her electricity to do what it did earlier and turn into a large ball of static, lobbing it at Matthew so that it fills the air around him with the tingling sensation.
Evelyn turns, staring wide-eyed at the trap for a second before turning back to her father, just in case there's another surprise while she's looking away!
She would immediately throw the lightning at any part of Matthew's clothing that was made of metal! Not enough to hurt, she's aiming to keep the armor from forming by letting the electricity keep it broken up.
Not even waiting for him to be ready for the lesson!? Totally unfair. He loved it! The armor wasn't metal since they were not in the tutorial but rather the stone from under the ground! She wasn't able to break the armor up as it was forming, but she did slow it down enough that she might be able to take advantage of it!
She rushes him, but loses control of the lightning in her hands when she releases it! It's arcs around them erratically, followed by her noise of frustration at having missed the opportunity!
Mathew's stone covered arms would reach out to grab her, partially to stop her from falling, and partially as a simulation of the attack he would make.
Evelyn takes the fall and rolls when she hits the ground, popping back up when she feels she's out of his immediate reach, close to being behind him now. She's seen him attack from behind before.
"Come on, Dad, I can take a fall." She huffs at the need to catch her. She's not a kid anymore.
Still running, she follows up with several small balls of electricity from behind! The last one is brighter than the others, intended to go up in a bright flash of light when it hits rather than be an attack.
