He laughed, letting her pull him along by the hand. He nearly swooned. This chick- he already knew he was gonna have her back no matter what. Talk about a sweetheart. No way he could ever hurt this doll. He shrugged as they got back, still grinning at how excited she was.
"Nothin' in my head I'm afraid of, or afraid of you knowing. You might see some shit you don't like but hey, that's the risk you're taking right?"
He would walk forward, wearing a large gray sweater and black pajama bottoms.
She shouted it over her shoulder as she was dragged into Ken's bedroom, and actually seemed oblivious to the fact that she was... Well, in a man's bedroom. She was too excited.
Giggling behind her free hand, she gave a shake of her head. "You don't have to strip," she told him with a smile.
OOC: You. Are. Epic. (For the "join if you want" comment, I mean)
Ken nearly burst out laughing as she said he could join. He was absolutely meaning the double-phrasing, but she clearly had no idea what was going on. He cracked his neck and would grin. In the corner was his bed, next to it, a nightstand. It had a lamp on it. It was 100% clean and organized (ain't no brotha gettin' a touch down with a filthy end zone, ya know what i mean?).
He would sit in the chair in front of the desk that had his laptop on it and chuck his chin up.
OOC: I play an extremely serious bitch. I have to have fun sometimes!
Evie looked around his room, surprised by how neat it was. She had expected it to be a mess, but having prepared herself for it, it wouldn't have bothered her.
She settled down on the floor, legs crossed, and was preparing to bring her chains out again when the thunk distracted her.
She startled slightly. "Um... Mikky, there's a door there."
It only took a moment before four chains started wiggling from behind her back, making the soft noises that metal against metal always made. She placed one in her hand, thoughtfully, and looked up at the two boys.
"So, I'm not too great at this. It might hurt a little." She offered BK an apologetic smile, the chain beginning to move towards him.
His whole body tensed up, and his eyes went wide as the chain would touch his shoulder. He instantly burst into a sweat, as a shock of electricity would shoot down his spine....or what felt like it. She would see the following:
"RUN KENNY! RUN!"
His mom was screaming from behind the blocked door, fire everywhere. He was crying, more boards falling down behind him. He would grit his teeth through the tears and step forward, placing his hands against the bottom of the burning beam, the smell of cooking flesh coming under his lips from his hands as he grunted. He would cry out as he lifted the heavy beam, backing up with it and falling onto his back. His left leg fell into more fire, the young boy of 11 screaming as fire tore along his thigh.
There was no sound coming from his mothers room anymore.
Ken would brush the chain off with a gasp, his teeth clenched as he doubled over, visions still swimming in front of his eyes.
The chain slit out of his body and wiggled right above him, her eyes distant as she reviewed the memory she had seen. It almost made her head hurt.
Of course, she couldn't say anything to Mikky. He didn't know what was going on.
Moving towards BK slowly, she reached out and placed a hand on his arm. Unlike her usual warmth, it would feel cold, like ice. It was part of the punishment of using one's soul.
Her chains hadn't retracted, but they didn't try to touch him.
"Are you okay?" She whispered. "I tried to warn you. Open minds are easier, and I didn't want to hurt you." She was frowning.
She hesitated a moment before letting her chain rest on him again. He would feel warmth, this time, gentle and pulsing. He would feel her concern like a blanket instead of the pain, and then the chains would sink a little deeper.
Evie let him see, for a moment. Or tried to. She let him see her parents. They were both busy working, but every time they passed her, they patted her on the head. It made her feel happy, loved, and she tried to share those feelings with him.
Mike wouldn't be able to 'see' her chains but he would hear them. Strange... But he would 'see' the reactions and hear their words. Sounded really intense... But for now he would just stay silent and 'watch'.
She allowed her memory to be shared for a moment longer, before her voice whispered across his mind.
Hold your breath.
Then, her chains would find something to wrap around, and they would. It was pain with no accurate physical description, and something he wouldn't be able to really get away from. The pain could cause loss of focus.
In actuality, she was trying to make him tired....
His body seized up in pain, his vision blurring rapidly. He didn't move as the strangest spear of pain rocked down his body, feeling the alertness drained from his body at the same time intense pain blasted him.
"S-stop!"
He spoke through clenched teeth- he wasn't mad, he just couldn't really open his mouth.
He groaned, leaning forward, then laughed through the pain."Oh man...f-feels like home." He looked up at her, his face red with pain. He waved off her apologies. "No no...don't scrunch up that beautiful face in worry over me. I knew some shit like this might happen."
