Unsure if he's ready, but there's no choice. The plan as he'd pitched to the group was essentially follow Piper in from the rooftops, enter the target location by the roof or windows, when Jim shows himself neutralise Piper - non lethally! - and drop the hammer on him from above. Ideally, they pop his limbs off and drag him back tied up in Aaron's shadows, or something similar. Piper hasn't been told. He's packing an AA-12 with a 32 shell drum, first 6 loaded being high explosive rounds, two spare boxes clips of 8 shells eaxh. He's also carrying his sidearm with a 2 and 2 split between live ammo and electroshock. Of course, he's not without his comm device and combat vest. He has little faith in them getting out alive.
