It hurts incredibly bad, but the wound itself doesn't seem all that terrible. There's not a lot of blood, at least. Since he drops to his knees, the fire blast aimed for him goes over him, and towards Sarah who's not looking! Aaron is able to save her from the other two however as he kills two genos! All the corpses scream in unison with their genos at this! Becca shoots the body along with Sarah's attack on the geno, but unfortunately she took her eyes off her own attacker! Holding herself up on one hand, the other hand punches at Becca's knee, shattering the cap! The heat warned her and she turned, throwing up a hand to try and defend herself and screaming, her entire body shaking as she tried to drop to avoid the fire. 'This is a joke.' It's as far as her thoughts get before a much louder cry, this time of pain, rings out and her kneecap shatters! She grabs at the body, or tries to, intending to rot it, but her movements are much more hampered. Thankfully, Fred saves her. She takes a burn to her defending arm, the severity depending on if she was wearing long sleeves or not! If so, the burn is less, but she is now on fire! If not, the burn is worse, but its over! Fire geno dies! A geno leaves its corpse to try and fly onto Aaron's shoulder from behind! Becca is teleported back to Paradigm grounds! Eric begins to cough violently! He'd fumble for his comm device before falling into a coughing fit. His eyes focusing and unfocusing on the black mucus that he had spit out upon the ground. He freezes as he tries to fight off the geno's intrusion into his mind, part confused as to what the hell these thoughts are referring to! He tries to fight, to focus, to think about his friends, his... more than friends. Focus on memories of gym chatter and hard work with Eric, on love and happiness and peaceful thoughts and long nights with Sarah. Somewhere, he registers Sarah in his way. Protecting Eric. A corner understands - there's a geno on him, trying to control him. A corner... burns. Roils. Shakes. Feels betrayed. She could help him, and instead she stands over Eric and holds a weapon at him. That's when he understands. Eric. He has to... kill... Eric? Has to kill Eric. No. Yes. Nononono he came down to protect him, to protect them all, he can't. He has to. He will. He won't. He does everything he can to fight! And then, if Fred hits it and knocks it off him, he'll throw up a wall of shadows to cut Sarah and Eric off from any further threats!
