He'd had to shower, do schoolwork, change out of those training clothes, visit people, and a bunch of stuff! Finally, there's the crunch of feet on grass approaching behind her, and if she turns she'll see Aaron, giving her one of his usual smiles. He's wearing the watch and blazer she gave him. "Hey, you. Feeling better?" There's a flicker of displeasure in his eyes, just a small mark of how the shortness and the hangup had bugged him. But then it's gone, forgiven. As usual, she's tucked into her little nest between the roots of the tree, looking small buried inside nature. When she hears the crunch of feet, she raises a single hand in greeting. "Hey," she greets, but her voice sounds flat as her eyes sweep across the page. "I am feeling fine. I don't know why you seemed so freaked out. It's just a burn." She seems oblivious to the fact that he could be talking about her "episode." After all, she did everything she could to act as if Puppet didn't exist anymore.
