Eric emerges with a full cowboy get up on looking the part of the lawman he was posing as. His US Marshal's badge was pinned to the inside of his coat at the moment and the revolver at his hip served as more show piece than actual weapon considering his lack of real skill with the gun. Though with the right look and the right words he should hopefully not have to use it. And if he did, well his glove had two charges. So if he couldn't talk his way out of a problem he had that as a last resort.
He'd try and connect with some of the other Paradigm goers. They didn't need everyone scattering to the wind. That would be problematic with them all trapped in the past for the time being.
A voice yells from across the street. He'll see a figure standing there with a ankle duster, dual revolvers at the hips, rifle resting across the shoulders, and of course the badge. The face is obscured by a cowboy hat, which just gives off a feeling of... right.
He'd tip his hat down as he turned to face the voice standing down the street of him. There was a moment of silence that hung between them as the breeze stirred and kicked up some dust around them while Eric chose his words carefully.
"Huntin' a wanted man. Heard word that Billy the Kid has turned up in these here parts with guns shootin' light and horses made of steel. I reckon a man like that needs to be brought to justice."
The question was if this was one of Billy's men, or a possible ally.
"I got money covered. And Billy the Kid is using future and current tech to run amok. We find him I bet we find a way home. And I know where his guys hang out."
"Cool. Give me some coin, I'll grab the saloon goers to get them some arms while you meet up with Rebecca and the others. We'll meet at the sheriff's office and go from there."
He'd take off his hat and reach in to pull out a bag of silver coins.
"That should hopefully be enough. Also I assume you had the same idea I did, but if not. Make sure your tactical vest is on under your period clothes."
If nothing else they should be more effective against these older weapons. As for the assumed laser guns. He'd rather have it than not...
"The Sheriff's office I guess. If you wanna drop that off I'll keep looking. I mean a bunch of teenagers in the old west. I'm guessing most ended up at the Saloon or the Brothel."
He'd tip his hat.
"Thankfully my heart is as pure as justice and as strong as a ladies virtue."
