Fifteen years ago... Eve thought back as far as she could but ended up shaking her head.
"I was really young. Six, then. I'm sure it was talked about, but I didn't watch much TV and kind of... lived sheltered. By the time I would have heard about it, it had probably all blown over."
Another question that she had to think about. It took her a little while before she finally nodded.
"I've found the best, most accepting people here. If they want to be a part of Paradigm, I don't think I would stop them. I honestly think this place would be great for a kid to grow up in."
Then, she chuckled to herself. "Plus, I don't think I plan on leaving any time soon."
"It's been wonderful to my kids, and I'm not saying that just as a staff member." Absinthe chuckles softly.
"As a school, it's the best place for them to be themselves. We've had a lot of students grow up and take normal every day jobs rather than become agents. The ways they learned to cope and control their powers helped them live normal, safe lives."
"I'm so sorry I left him with you and Jack." Absinthe laughs, recalling that.
"I think Terry is seriously considering it, now. He's struggling because he's at that awkward age where making friends isn't as simple. He can be pretty shy so he's worried about fitting in as an agent surrounded by new people."
Absinthe can't help but smile as she talks about her children.
"Jack told him he could start next year, at earliest. It's all he talks about now, so I think he knows what he wants. The rest of them are too young, but our youngest is...learning magic."
"Oh, don't be sorry! It was fun!" Evie laughs with her.
"I hope it's everything Terry hopes it to be, then! I understand being shy, but as far as I can tell, this place is good for that! I've made a few really good friends here, and I wouldn't trade these experiences for the world."
She smiled, then chuckled as she thought about the youngest.
