And the staff would connect with his knee no problem, however the blow was absorbed by the aura around him. He'd try and bring the base of the bat down on her head while she attacked him. The second the bat hit her, she saw stars and dropped slightly, making a noise of surprise. WELL then. He could actually hit. How interesting... From the ground, she turned and swung the staff again, trying to connect with his legs and drop him to a more fair fighting position.
