Maybe she's just really stoked to show him this arcade and explore the city, though. It's nice seeing her smiling and enjoying herself, too, so when he sees her brighten he relaxes, falling into step next to her with an easy stride, hands in his pockets and body language at ease. It's really quite nice out for February in Chicago - you'd almost forget the world is at war, looking around out here, and the fresh air is welcome. "Where is this place, exactly?" Whatever'd been on his mind in the cafe, it looks like it's been forgotten for now, as he heads to the arcade with her, an easy little smile on his face and his hands in his pockets. "Got a good feeling about this place already," he says, getting the door if she'll let him and allowing her to enter first. How long has it been since he really played a video game, let himself enjoy it? Lately, whenever he sat down in front of one it was just a way to let hours pass by unnoticed, blankly, so he wouldn't have to think, and even then he felt guilty doing that instead of something productive. Something worthwhile. Why was he playing a video game, he'd ask himself, instead of spending a few hours helping out at a soup kitchen or working out or practising with his powers? It's been long enough he's honestly started to forget his old favourites, but seeing how happy she is to be here, feeling the warmth all around him and everyone enjoying themselves like there's no war, no reason to be anxious or upset or afraid, he finds himself actually able to relax. All the ambient energy warms him almost as much as it does Savaak. "It's been a bit, but would you believe me if I said I used to be great at those dance machines?" Wow. She really likes that idea, huh? Maybe she's just really cheery by nature, when bad things haven't happened, but seeing her reaction is still quite a thing. Especially with how much Aaron likes helping people and making them happy, just knowing she's enjoying herself is quite the thing. She's got a pretty smile, too, but he's trying not to think about that. It feels like projecting, like he'd be using her somehow. Still, he actually manages a grin back, and a bit of a playful chuckle at her question. "Go as hard as you like, I could use the workout." The precision and economy of movement is still there, but there suddenly looks like there's more energy and effort behind his moves. Martial arts and some actual dance instruction do well here, making his body in tune with exactly what his mind needs it to do, even as the music fills his head. The lead starts to pick up again as Savaak notices his score closing the gap! She's still grinning, movements getting a little more heated. The onlookers increase in number, and she can feel the eyes on her, bringing out an even stronger desire to put this boy through his paces, especially since the song's nearly over. Then, her foot lands on Aaron's! It's a bit harder than normal since the movements have weight behind them, the flow turning more towards power, but at least she's not wearing heels. The gap closes and closes, but paces are definitely starting to be put through! He wants to do well, especially since he just got compared to Eric, and as the song starts to get close to its end their movements get more in synch. ...And then she stomps on his foot! "Ah!" That stung! He falters for a second, looking at her as if wondering if she did that on purpose - but there's no hard feelings, really, as his feet get going again.
