Dillon went to go get her side fixed up, but Jude had his trainer. That meant that she was alone, which she wasn't entirely sure she was comfortable with. So, instead, she went to change her shirt and then started to walk around campus.
If somebody looked, they would notice that the sun did not cast her shadow. There was just... nothing.
Rebecca passes by! She doesn't notice much at first, other than the girls' about as pale as she is, but looks back when she notices something off without recognizing what it is at first. Her gaze sweeps over the girl with a small frown, wondering what drew her attention at all, when she notices the lack of shadow.
The voice was in Becca's ear, suddenly, and she'd feel a weight against her shoulder. When she looked, she would see a small little shadow with blue streaks and overly large horns clinging to her and peering at her cheek with a wide grin.
Rebecca tenses and goes still at the sudden weight at her shoulder, turning her head slightly only to stop at the side of something not normal there. Her eyes wide for a second, then, of all things, she grins.
"Cute?" His blue eyes widened, his smile growing even further. Floating slightly, he backed away from her shoulder so she could get a better look at him.
Admittedly, the only shadow wieleder Rebecca had come across was Aaron, but not only was he on the battlefront, but Paw really was cute. She figures it's a safe assumption that anything ASaron made wouldn't be this, nor have a voice or expression.
Paw is already winning her over, though she's cautious enough not to just go nuts. That's asking for trouble.
"Nice to meet you, Paw. I'm Rebecca." She nods as he holds out his arms, making note of his appearance and the fact that it said it was a Shadow.
It's probably very dumb of her to do, but Rebecca reaches out ot shake Paw's hand. She looks over when the girl she'd passed by joins them, dark eyes glazed like she wasn't completely with it. Rebecca watches as Paw goes to join the pale girl, shaking her head.
"I wouldn't worry about it too much." Maybe. She glances at Paw with consideration. Somehow, he gives the impression he is quite happy to be a trouble maker, so she won't make any promises.
"So, what's your name?" She kind of reminds Rebecca of herself, not so long ago.
Jude wandered over toward the only familiar face on campus. "Yo Dill, you doin alright?" He asked, primary focus on Dillon. He eyed Rebecca like a threat, but kept his hands firmy in his pockets, if anyone was paying attention, they'd see the blood seeping through his pants.
"Uh." Yeah, there's the Becca we know and love. "I guess that depends on how you mean it?" It was a pretty broad question.
She tenses at the sound of another new voice, distracted as she looks over to see a young man who apparently knows Dillon approach. She raises her brows when he gives her a look like she's going to turn Dillon to stone, unmoved.
Her gaze slides back to Dillon. Is everything okay, indeed.
Jude grinned a bit, a silly lopsided look on his harsh face. "Went fine, punched the asshole in the back of the head for ya." He turned back toward Rebecca. "Yo, I'm Jude." He offered out his left hand to shake, as his right was rather... Not up to the task at the moment. He might be an asshole, but he wasn't without manners.
