The party has been going for a little bit at this point, about two hours in. Brian has been playing music mostly be request. Sarah has stuck close to Sterling but has tried not to make it seem too obvious and give him space as well. Jeff on the other hand is by far the most drunk at the party, hitting on almost every girl present at least half a dozen times.
"Woo! Senior year!" He holds up a toast, spilling some beer on the floor.
Holly's listening to whatever song's playing as she makes sure to stay away from the super drunk people. She doesn't like the smell of beer in her hair. Between songs, she's elaborated on her notion of "bigger" with the bodies in the basement theory. Sometimes, the bodies aren't even a cover up so much as part of whatever theory comes to mind.
She's also probably discouraged some other people from talking to her if they overhear. Maybe. She's good like that.
Ronnie waits for someone to enter the kitchen, and Sterling is the unlucky victim! He pops out wearing a sheet he cut holes into - don't tell Maxi - with a knife sharpener!
Holly waves a hand in a shushing gesture, looking around again like she expects Maxi to suddenly be RIGHT THERE and add her body to those inside the cabin. A bit of interest shows as she looks towards the kitchen. Don't go to the cellar was asking them not to hit the red button - and some of the teens were certainly drunk enough to do so by accident.
"Who's going to know? We were told not to, and that's what we play by. Unless our host wants to give us a full tour." She raised her voice a little, sounding enthusiastic and way too into the idea of seeing dead bodies.
In a pathetic attempt to dodge, Ronnie takes a fist right to his face!
"Son of a diiick," he groans as he falls to the floor, holding his face.
If he sees no one else go to answer the door, he will just to escape this awkward and failed situation! If not, well... he's going to lie on the ground, in pain, for a bit.
Even if it's a glancing blow, his ego took the biggest blow of all.
Ronnie just makes a face at Sterling - not sure what the face means - before he goes off to the door.
"Oh fuck -" Ronnie stops, having been too inebriated to consider that possibility! If Jeff lets go, he runs to a window to check in the best sneaky manner he can attempt.
Since he thinks it's the cops now, he's looking for lights! Or just anything cop-ish, really.
"Jesus, Ronnie. You scared me." Sarah sighs as he wanders over to the window.
"Guys, I don't think its the cops. We're kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Maybe someone's lost?" She goes to open the door unless someone else stops her.
There's no lights, and he can't see the door from this angle.
"No no no no no no no no -" Ronnie keeps adding more "no"s until he reaches Sarah and takes her arm, which he holds for a few seconds longer than necessary.
"Let me."
Still in the ghost get-up, Ronnie goes to answer instead.
