Then he turns to look at the blue haired girl, since she seems to know more about this than the other male and Mark himself. She was the one bringing up other things other than how Eliott was feeling.
Averie raises a brow at the other guy, willing to let the mystery girl with the mystery father stew in her feelings and decide if she really wants to be on the sidelines where it's safe. At least it sounded like she was considering it.
"You could always look into the place the sperm came from." She shrugged. "You can wait, but i don't know how long it'll take for the results to come back. I dunno, maybe hack some files if you really want to."
Eliott opens her mouth to yell about how she meant look FOR HIM, as in find him, but that was a good point. She couldn't show up looking like a mess...
GREAT MORE THINGS TO STRESS ABOUT DESPITE THE SWEET ADVICE OF BE YOURSELF. AHAHAHA. BE YOURSELF. YEAH AND LOOK LIKE A FOOL?! SHE THINKS NOT.
"I could do all those things." she nods. These are all possible.
"I know where my mothers went to acquire it. But it's been so long, would they still have that information?" she frowns thoughtfully.
Plus maybe there's like a whole pack of Japanese Hydes. You...you never know.

"Dunno. Guess that's why you should start there." Another shrug. Averie is not holding this girl's hand. "If nothing else, they can at least let you know if they have them, or how far back the records go."
His brows furrowed at the odd restrictions. He was surprised that they were even able to give out that information, but the age restrictions seemed weird.
"Why? She spit in a cup, can't you just tell her from that?"
With the DNA. She was old enough for that, so why not for the rest?
Time to have some fun, and be helpful too. Averie sidles up to Eliott wrapping her arm around the girl in a supportive side hug, letting her arm remain there as she gives the woman at the desk a pleading look.
"Look, I know this is kinda weird and all, but my sister and I just want to know who our father is. I'm 18. Can't you do anything give us anything?"
"Could I just see some identification?" she asks Averie. The woman mostly just wanted to double check that she was 18. Names matching didn't really matter in this case, since 'donor siblings' didn't always share the same parents.
The woman hands Eliott a clip board with an application, which she takes quickly before the lady changes her mind.
"Yes, very acceptable." she nods, filling the whole thing out quickly before handing it back.
"I'll be just a moment." the woman says, excusing herself to the back.
"I...I can't believe it was this easy. These people are suckers."
It's less a question of if Averie has the ID and more of where she keeps it. She fishes the ID out of a back pocket and shows it to the woman. The legit card is quite happy to reassure the clerk that the blue-haired girl is indeed as old as she says she is.
Tucking it away again, she stretches on her toes, arms extended back and over her head as her fingers lace together.
"That was ridiculously easy. You could have forged anything." She frowned, disliking the idea. It was dumb, but at least it worked in their favor. She shrugged and relaxed again.
"I'm sure they're more concerned with the details I give than age." she shrugs.
As long as her details match in a database, then it's 'safe' to share the information.
It takes a good twenty minutes, but the woman comes back out holding something that looks like a key card.
"Here you go, Miss Knight. Just place this in one of the computers over there and you'll receive all the information the donor provided us." she smiles.
Eliott thanks her and rushes over to the computer, looking from the screen to the key card in her hand.
