She's mostly raising her voice BECAUSE of the ruckus she's causing by hammering the metal. But it's also natural.
Still, she looks back at what she's doing now that he's pointed that out, before stopping completely.
"I feel like I'm missing a few materials." she frowns.
"The control panel isn't entirely made of metal...but other materials aren't exactly my forte..."
She's not sure how to replace all the buttons. They might just have to be the mechanism under the buttons...and she'll have to figure out which one does what.
Most of the damage is to the circuitry beneath, as well as the frame of the panel itself. Eliott could theoretically work around the damage with a bit of ingenuity!
Yay! She's on a roll! Now she just fixes the blood sample into it and fixes up the wiring to what should be the power source before backing away.
"So three things could go wrong." she says.
"One. The power source may no longer have any charge. Two. I may not have fixed it properly...faulty wiring maybe...things not plugged where they should be...so it may just not work. Or do something else entirely. OR three. It could explode."
"I am uncertain of how to test your intelligence..." she admits. Does the machine somehow give you amazing comprehension of stuff you never learned? Or is he just really smart in whatever he already knows?
