Wandering through the remains of what used to be a zoo before it relocated, Eliott is on the search for that machine! She's wheeling around a tiny suitcase filled with tools she may need, frowning as she's not entirely sure what building it would have been left in.
If it was left there at all.
"Why a zoo?!" she grumbles. What a stupid place to keep a machine like that.
It looks like a stable, one that had been set for particularly large animals. The front area is pretty run down and dusty, while it opens up into the stables proper near the back.
Mark follows, interested even though he knows he won't understand any of it.
Eliott sees that it's pretty degraded. Even though it's indoors, it's started to rust and degrade slightly, and there's several roughly fist-sized holes in it.
Bah. Useful but unnecessary. Her goal was to make this thing more compact. It must be at least a decade old, so she's hopeful that that's possible. But that also means not bothering with any of the other features.
"As soon as I figure out the technology at play here, I may be able to make a smaller one." she explains out loud.
"There's no way we're carrying this hunk of junk."
Hmm, it's nothing like she's sees before, but she's slowly making sense of what was done in here.
"Hrm. I think I might have to repair this one first before I can alter it to a smaller device..." she frowns.
That's what happens when she's faced with a formula she's never used. She gonna have to try multiple things to repair it so she knows she's doing it correctly, first.
"And I'll need someone to test it on..." she slowly glances at him.
Usually she'd just accept this answer but since Mark is a bit more special than other people, she chooses to explain more.
"You're sure you're fine with it? It could do strange things to you. Nothing unrecoverable, seeing as I think it operates by sending signals if destroying the machine reversed the effects..."
