When she stops hearing banging, and instead vaguely hears him talk, she opens her eyes and unplugs her ears. She shakes off whatever discomfort she felt, looking at the machine with a frown. All this work to try and restore it... But she had to get over it. Once she was done copying the tech, they'd have to completely destroy it. She shuts it down before removing his blood.
