Time for another mall adventure! Though this time it's with a smaller budget. That may be a downside, considering where they're going. She dusts her palms off on her recently acquired jeans and looks back at her friends. Sneaky Sarah's leading them this time, but she can't say she's not excited.
Rebecca can't help but grin at her friend's enthusiasm. She chuckles and shakes her head, looking up at the name of a store she's never been to before and nudges Eric playfully.
"Welll we can always go now. I'm up for keeping the suspense going."
"True." Rebecca nods and grins. "I'm down for it, either way." Her gaze goes from Sarah to the store and then back to her friend. It was her day, after all. A cheer up from the disaster that happened in the Director's office and life in general.
"Well, we're here now, so why not?" It's hard to miss the enthusiasm in the blonde's tone, and it was good to see her even start to enjoy herself.
Eric follows her in and just looks around. It was a bit darker than his color taste would go for, but he also wasn't the one that would be wearing this stuff either.
Rebecca looks around the store as she enters, mildly interested in some and definitely interested in at least a couple of things. Judging by her expression, she'd be getting at least a couple somethings here. The spikes and studs weren't her thing, but others...yes. Definitely yes.
"I had no idea what to expect," she admits with a smile, looking at a shirt for a moment before putting it back and looking instead at something that makes her stop and smile, stepping close to take a look at a loose black shirt with draped sleeves cut out at the elbow. She fingers the fabric with a thoughtful expression.
"Please tell me you're--"
No. Bad brain. She can't finish that without it making it sound like she was interested in Sarah. Dangit.
Sarah laughed. She had noticed the moment of awkward but she hoped she could just smooth it over. She looked over to Becca and offered her a very slight shake of her head.
She grabbed one of the bra and knickers sets, looking it over before putting it back and making a face.
"I'll even let you pick something out for me if you let me pick something out for you," she said with a wink.
Rebecca nods with a small laugh as Sarah manages to msooth over the bump in the road the dark-haired agent made.
And then made it worse. She opens her mouth to speak and clamps it shut again as Eric pipes up with his own offer. She trusted him to keep it to flirting, but this was already getting too awkward for her to know how to function and get out of on a comfortable level.
"Sure," she says with a nod to Sarah, then turning her attention to Eric to make a sassy comment, but there's no response. Her brain can't come up with one.
She tossed a glare back towards Eric, but the smile on her face softened it. She laughed with a shake of her head and began to continue through the clothes.
"Nope," she says to Eric. "You're going to get to see what she buys, anyways, so why not let her surprise you?"
Saved by the best friend. Rebecca gives Eric a wry smile and a nod, letting her breath out in a small sigh and chuckle.
"Overruled. Besides, I need a chance to surprise you somehow. You already know at least one thing I'll be getting." And that's the closest thing he'd get to a hint as she looks back at Sarah. She's still trying for her friend's sake, but Rebecca also has a penchant for dragging things down without trying.
She turned her face away, wincing in pain. It took her a second to catch her breath. Maybe it would be easier with just one of them... And she could talk to Becca, alone.
"I. Uh." Rebecca's stomach does a few backflips at the comment, especially when Sarah looks away. He really didn't know. She'd thought Sarah would have talked to him, and now he was going to leave them alone together. To shop together.
Rebecca watches him go without comment, taking a deep breath almost in unison with Sarah before going back to the rack. Her fingers are shaking as she looks at a lacy black halter bra, picking out one in her size.
