Rebecca falls silent, but not sullen, then shakes her head after a couple moments. "I think it's both true and not true to who she is. It's definitely in there - the senseation that how dare you do anything to invade her space. She acts like this place is a personal insult ot her existence, and the people in it." She shrugs. "Probably, she just doesn't want to be here and is taking it out on us. But you're also assuming I have interest." Because her bringing up a stranger stranger at all makes perfect sense with her lack of interest in the new kid.
