It was helpful, but he would not let a man save him and then leave him to die. That would be a stain on his honor. So with the creature subdued or killed Gil would snatch the knife back and head back into the fray!

The hand passes out!

Gil sees the space cop with a very bloody face, part of his body either bleeding or covered in blood. He seems to be swarmed with three of them. He's still fighting back, but it seems to be going very, very poorly.

With the energy gathered in his body Gil would explode forward, letting his burning wounds bleed freely as he launched toward the bloodthirsty aliens. His blade seeking to drive into the skull of one of them as his grip adjusted on the bladed arm he held to be closer to the blade, looking to drive that into another!

He stabs the skull of one, causing it to slump! The other gets stabbed in the chest, taking its attention away from Space Cop and now to Gil as its extra arms stab back at him!

The third continues fighting with Space Cop, who fires into it twice before his gun retracts back into the wrist of his armor, and he loses consciousness!

Clarke's got a needle!

He keeps going on offense, as the extra arms move to stab at him Gilgamesh would pull up on the knife attempting to continue ripping up the thing's chest and kill it first!

Then starts trying to drag him back towards the ship.
