For a half a second, Rebecca pauses in her stride, not sure who is being addressed because it can't really be her. She's probably better off not dwelling on the fact.
She's getting pretty close to Arman, though. "Over here, blondie," she snaps irritably, planting her hands on her hips when they're in talking distance isntead of shouting.
"Why the heck are you putting these things up? Have you not met some of the other people on campus here?" Take that, Silas.
"You make absolutely no sense." Rebecca blinks, hearing the chuckle, sort of, but not associating it with Silas. The conversation has her.
"You literally just said, 'I won, but it's not enough. Let's try to humiliate the guy but wind up making no sense in the process.'" She waves a hand - the bare one, sadly, at o ne of the posters.
"Seriously, have you met Clyde? Or anyone else? Or are you just destined to hate Mike to feed your superiority complex?" Who knows where the insult roll is coming from, because Rebecca sure doesn't.
Arman points at Silas and gives him a thumbs-up! He doesn't know the guy, but he likes him already.
"Winning isn't everything," he shrugs. "You gotta do so much more than win. I've met a couple of folks, here and there. Fire boy? He ain't shit compared to Blue Balls. In fact-"
He pauses, suddenly curious about why someone would defend him so fervently! (Too bad Arman doesn't know what that word means.)
Rebecca stares at the blonde guy like he's just asked her for her phone number while wearing a blue furry suit.
"No." She scowls. "Why is it everyone thinks the moment a girl talks to a guy, it's something? He's my friend." Her glare returns, this time for Arman. "I think it's time you stop wasting ink and my time and find a better way to use yours."
She snatches the poster he just planted right off the wall and holds on to it, all with her bare hand. It won't take too long for him to see it rotting away, and her gaze is intense, focusing on his face the entire time as she remains silent.
