He can feel his lips cracking and the taste infesting his mouth, but this time he was at least ready for it and avoids throwing up. He even manages to break the kiss gracefully, reaching into the basket for a bottled water with a smile.
"The classic way to turn a villain good."
His breath probably smelled like death before he'd take a long swig of water.
Not like she hasn't smelled it when rotting the giant's leg from the inside, but Eirc also wins points for the grace and tact without throwing up.
"Hmmm, isn't that the way you turn a hero to the dark side?" Still small twinges of guilt, but they're much smaller than before. She's still on the fence on whether she believes this is always will be how it is, no matter who she's with.
She leans in at the challenge, grinning as long as he can see her expression as she raises one hand to his coat and pull him close. At first, the kiss lasts only a couple of seconds; she pulls back just enough to ensure there's no further rot this time.
When she feels only the sores from before, she kisses him again, this time holding it much longer as her hand loosens it grip and slides off to the side.
HE kisses her and is both surprised and relieved when there is no further rot and takes that as an invitation to deepen the kiss and slowly, but gently push her back onto the blanket.
This is the sad part where Rebecca admits to herself that she doesn't know what to do with her hands. She lifts a hand to Eric's face as the kiss deepens. He can feel her tense for a brief secon when he starts to push her back, but the reaction comes from surprise and fades as she wraps her arms around him to keep him close as well as a form of balance.
Lucky for her Eric was more than fine taking the lead, taking advantage of the lack of rotting while it was the current state of her power. Though after a minute or so he'd break the kiss with a grin.
"Hmmmm. I think that's still more about turning you good."
Rebecca's content to stay where she is as he pulls away, but the question is a loaded one despite how simple it seems. She sits up, wrapping her arms around her legs and resting her chin on her knees as she looks at him.
"Well, you know my control's still not great, but the the 'I won't rot my friend' wasn't the only reason it didn't happen."
