"You act like I'm going to magically have a whole other group of friends or something hidden under my floorboards." She shakes her ehad at the teasing, still smiling and, finally, relaxing.
He'd lean back and shake his sandwich at her lightly.
"Alright. I got one. What exactly is your deal? With the whole late night trying to be alone thing. You spend most of the day locked in your room. You sure you are not secretly hoping to have people run into you and force you to interact?"
She leans back, brows raised with an offended expression this time at his question. It settles once he elaborates, turning almost amused as she leans back on her hands and closes her eyes with a sigh.
"You would ask that," she muses with a smile. Opening her eyes, she looks up at the sky through the trees.
"I don't know if you've noticed, but I don't exactly sleep much. I can't spend all my time in there." A quiet laugh as she looks back at him. "We've seen how well that works.
"So I come out here. I do stuff. Usually, there's fewer people to bump into or bother me about whatever I'm doing or not doing. Fewer interruptions. It's quieter." She looks up at the sky again for a moment, then back down at him.
It figures Eric would bue a sunshine and blue skies boy.
"I just don't." She shrugs, but doesn't move. "Soe nights, there's just no point in sleeping. Too much on my mind, maybe? Other times, it doesn't matter if I get two hours of sleep in a night or ten. I still function at about the same level."
"That's the first part." A sage nod, as though that's what she intended all along. "Then, together, we spawn a bot army and use their spam to take over the game." A pause.
"And then I kill you. Bots are villainous by nature."
"Well, if you're the overlord of your own bot army, that tends to make your days busy. But you play the game, give people offers that sound too good to be true.
"The really nasty ones will take that information and use it. I'm fond of the eternal spamming, myself." She is totally making this up on the fly.
"Shhhh, not so loud!" She raises a finger to her lips, still smiling.
"Alright, wise guy. You've got me figured out. Now do me a favor and keep quiet on it. They can't know the truth." Again the false innocence. "I'm trying to reform.
"And of course you're too nice. You're in charge of a hero squad, Captain."
