While everyone is occupied, Silas goes to set up one of those pillars with just enough explosives in the right spot to take it out, setting for a delayed charge to be activated via his holocomp.
New plan. Brute force is a waste of time against him right now, at least without Aaron using far more energy than is wise in this situation. He calls a "bubble" of darkness around Rian's head, solidifying the very outermost edges so it'll stay in place more easily, and starts sending smoky masses up his nostrils and into his airways! Not only will Rian be unable to see for Lief's attack, he'll be getting suffocated!

Josh hurries to move closer to Lief and Mike! If he's too far away, his barriers won't be as strong, and he's got a feeling that Big Red here might not take too kindly to one of those two.
Joshua sees what Aaron's doing, and gets an idea. What if that smokey stuff was trapped in there around his head?
Josh isn't sure if he'll be able to pull this one off, but he tries to create a bubble barrier around Rian's head to trap in that shadowy material. He's done this sort of thing before, but only around him or parts of him, like his fists. This will be something of a new experience.
Rian flails at the darkness, and the frantic motions essentially ruin Leif's aim, causing her to strike him in the meaty parts of his back. He flinches again, but Savaak's light chases away Aaron's darkness, giving Rian an opportunity to bend and scoop up another chunk of concrete before whipping it towards Leif!
Josh only gets one post per round!

Thanks, Savaak! Aaron reaches out to try to form a "cloud" of darkness around the chunk of concrete and solidify it, so he can effectively catch the projectile and toss it aside!
He'd swing it around and at Rian's head, if not for the fact Mike is charging at the big guy! He stands ready to back up his roommate!

Oh God, please don't let that have snapped Mike's neck or something.
Time for another darkness cloud! He raises it in Mike's flight path, then makes it not so much solid like a wall, but firm, trying to make it like Mike falling into a safety net, which then lowers him to the floor.
Is Rian still blind? How much does he look like the dump affected him?

Josh winces at the impact from rubble striking the wall, but it held up! ... Super neato!
The wall flickers out of existence. Josh considers putting up another wall, but when Leif strikes at Rian, Josh decides for a two-prong attack. If at first you don't succeed and all that fun stuff.
Josh runs right at the lobsterheaded muscle man, putting up his charging barrier and praying Leif's blades will have distracted him long enough for this to work.
Mike felt a brief moment of satisfaction when he landed the blow and energy dumped the guy. He wasn't expecting him to be able to get back up, and certainly wasn't expecting the backhand to send him flying with such force. He smashed into the far wall with a painful sounding crash as the concrete and his shield cracked from the force.
Thankful for his power's protection, but disoriented from the experience he'd slowly pick himself up trying to figure out just what happened...
Rian doesn't look blind at all, and judging from the smile on his face, Mike's energy dump hasn't managed to injure him that severely.
Mike's momentum slows from Aaron trying to catch him, but the near constant use of his power is causing Aaron to weaken, resulting in Mike still smacking against the wall.
Leif's bioelectric attack strikes Rian in the back, and he jerks again, looking decidedly more uncomfortable than he was when she'd struck him before, and he actually ends up stumbling back again when Josh rushes forward with his barrier, almost but not quite falling over.
"That's the spirit! I don't wanna kill ya' if you haven't tried your best, that's no fun."
Silas sets up his second bomb!
Savaak keeps the technicians blind, but they're going by sense of feel and memory!
Eliott can understand the science behind the teleportation pretty well, but it does seem complicated, using theories that are only just being developed the last she heard, nothing that was tested officially. It seems to have been developed by Sharpe Enterprises.
The hit was like cracking against a linebacker twice his size with cleats twice as deep. Josh reeled, nearly toppling back himself. The important thing was, it looked like Rian was too.
"Fall down, damn it!" Josh shouted in frustration. The larger barrier flickered out of existence a couple seconds after that hit and following it up with one of equal size so soon afterwards probably wasn't happening right now. But, remembering his spar against Matthew Antrum, Josh formed a barrier bubble around his right fist and gave Rian his best shot to the chest.
He wasn't a boxer by no means, but maybe... just maybe.
He'd thought doing Jack's exercise every day for months like he's been would improve his stamina. Suppressing his annoyance at himself, he calls up a shadow over Rian's eyes, keeping it there to blind him for Josh's attack! It doesn't have to stay in place forever, just long enough to get Josh a free hit or two.
