The Stranger was confused. Was the ant also a prisoner? Generally giant ants were hostile, but not this one? To be fair, he hadn't attacked him yet. Usually they attack as soon as he's close enough. Alright then. So everyone here was a prisoner, and they all had to work together to find out what was going o. He didn't like it, but he didn't have a reason to distrust anyone yet.

With a spin of the gun, he reholstered his weapon and raised his hands in a lock surrender to show he would comply for now.

The Collective screech before one of them takes the lead, firing a laser out of one of the arms as it gives chase!

Clarke will almost run directly into Daiyu as the rest follow several steps behind her!

It's like feeling ants crawling on your skin, but she's down for it. It's probably a lot faster for the ant. Less squishy. She's also glad to keep away from whatever the glonde guy was throwing around.

"Oop." Sabrina skids to a stop as two people collide! He wasn't screeching, so that was a good sign.

"Soooo, I'm guessing we turn back the other way."

Gil feels a pinch in his leg as he pulls! He's able to peel off most of it, but it feels almost like a leech that has bit into his calf! Its stretching as he pulls!

On Sabrina's cue, she sees two of the Collective turn the corner, walking on metal spider legs and firing lasers at them!

Daiyu keeps pressed against the wall as lasers fly by.

And then bullets, too.

"It's never aliens coming to spread knowledge and abducting you for a space party." she sighs, offering him a hand before starting to back up.

Unless the quiet guy can out-shoot all the aliens, they might need to retreat.

The bullets bounce off the metal legs, but one wings Collective 1's regular arm and it screeches again, pulling back as Collective 2 takes the lead, swiping a leg that would hit Daiyu and Clarke if they stayed put!

Sabrina knows the door they came out of was automatic, however she can remember Insector having held up one of the pod doors as a weapon earlier!

Gil pulls and there's a rip as his leg starts bleeding slightly as he holds the goo up in the air!

He winces in pain but releases his hand to drop the goo as he'd propel himself forward toward the spider things shooting lasers. He'd dip into a slide to try and go under the metal legs and punch up through the base to the creature shooting at them.

So the legs were armored but their bodies were flesh-like. He only considered them aliens, and this area a spaceship because it was mentioned to him, but he would want to discern that for himself, later. For all he knew this was some weird metahuman plot.

He aim closer to the flesh for the next few shots, but he's more focused on finding a way out of this. He checks the map for alternative routes!

"Wanna use that against them?" Shield, weapon, she doesn't care, but it's better than nothing.

There's the door the others had come through, as well as a long hallway leading to a large double doors!

The goo stays on Gils hand! His attacks lands on the collective, but now all three of them are stuck together! Its injured, but uses half its legs to push on Gil's head and torso, the other half digging into the ship to pull itself free!

Collective 1 skitters to the ceiling and forward, avoiding the Stranger's shots as it fires lasers at all of the team except Gil, looking to leap and get on top of the Stranger! He does manage to get a map that the direction the Collective came from has a large science room and medical bay, two storage rooms and the direction Clarke and Daiyu running toward being the helm of the ship! That's all for this floor!

Insector in the meantime skitters back into the room, grabbing a pod door and back onto Sabrina, where it holds the pod door, deflecting a blast that would have hit her!
