Gil flips to its back as the Stranger fires at it! It uses its other arms to shield, taking the laser blast but unable to attack as they are being used defensively. However, the three other collectives are gaining on the group.

The Collectives screech, but don't have much pause to their movement!

There is another screech, though this one sounds distorted!

Sabrina makes a spear as Insector pops out from behind its shield, twitching its antennae!

Clarke is ready!

Gil stabs it, making it drop its shield as Stranger blasts through him! Gil then is grabbed by one of the others! However, Clarke causes it to drop, along with the other two when the noise comes into play! Insector rolls onto its back, legs twitching!

When they goes down, one gets impaled as the goo lets out its own distorted screech!

When Gil is dropped he would try to rip the blade arm off of the one he impaled to use as a weapon against any of the others still coming at him. Or alive. Or whatever.

Poor buddy. Sabrina picks up Insector and holds on to him since he's been a good helper. She doesn't really feel like asking Clarke to stop the murder-horde from chasing them.  She uses a bit of the scrap metal from Collective #3 to turn into a helmet with insulation and puts it over Insector's head to block the noise!

"What in the world is that supposed to be?" The red one was interesting, even if it was creepy.

It stares for a while, but when Stranger starts blasting, he screams and retreats backwards a few steps! It screams again, the goo dripping off as it heads back for the lab area, the corpse of the collective dropping to the ground!

That only leaves one screeching collective on the hallway floor!
