He growls in pain and anger as the metal leg pushes into his face while he twists his body to try and lift his legs to slam into the back of the creature with as much force as he can muster given the position.

Clarke pushes himself to the side to try and avoid the laser, then continues on speaking as he heads for the double doors.

"-where all the members act as one being."

He looks for a way to open the doors, like a terminal or something.

The Stranger jumps back away from the collective as it leaps on him, instead taking the opportunity to leap onto it! He would clamour around, interested to see if he could rip one of the lasers off of it!

He kicks the metal so hard it cracks, at which point the goo releases him, crawling inside of it as Gil is flung to the side wall as Collective 1 does the same opposite him!

Clarke finds a terminal, which seems to function in Binary!

The Stranger leaps onto the limb, wrestling it! He doesn't seem to be able to pry anything off, but he does get slammed into the ceiling of the hallway, denting it!

She tries to run in zig zags to avoid the lasers.

The Stranger would grunt under the force of getting slammed in the cieling. Obviously this thing wasn't going to come off easily, so he'd have to find an alternative method.

He waved to the blonde man. He seemed strong enough and may have been able to provide what he wanted: excessive force. He pointed to the man, then to the laser he clutched too before pulling out his big iron. After all, it'd be inconsiderate to not put in some of the work. he'd begin blasting at the joint of the laser!

Daiyu does notice they all shriek when one does. She also notices Collective 3, aka Clarke's pal, skitterng on the wall past the other two, Gil, and the Stranger, leaping at her and Sabrina!

Clarke sees he can open the doors to the next room, and the airlock doors which seem to be in the direction they had come from. He can also play music on the intercom.

Gil sees Collective 2 Stand back up to attack him, but then pauses and starts to scratch at its own skin! He then sees the Stranger flag him down as he begins detaching the laser with some success!

He nodded to the other human. At least he was fighting. Kicking off of the wall Gilgamesh would launch himself at the collective that was grappling the Stranger, looking to smash through whatever was attaching the laser to the alien.

"Y'know...maybe they do..." she agrees under her breath.

As one of them makes it way to them, she refrains from risking a super punch or heal, opting instead to use her own strength. She's not sure how heavy they are but she'll try to catch it by the creepy-crawly leg and swing it into a wall.

Gil slices through the laser as Stranger shoots at it! Its now detached! But the Collective tries to shake the Stranger loose as a bladed arm goes to stab Gil in the back!

Given some time, Clarke can!

Daiyu catches the limb, her feet sliding back at the impact. She's not able to swing him yet, but they are at a standstill! However, It has a lot more arms and looks to smash her on top of the head with two of them!

Another arm does the same thing to Sabrina, but Insector holds up the shield, which causes the arm to get cut off when it makes contact with the blade part!

Clarke has one more round til he's ready!

In the meantime, there's more screeching as collectives 4-6 come skittering down the hallway!

Gil catches it, but finds it harder to redirect it as the arm begins twisting, trying to drill through his grip and into Gil's midsection!

Sabrina re-sharpens the shield as Insector hops off and goes to hack off another leg! As he does, Daiyu roll uppercuts him and sends him flying up to the ceiling with a sickening crack when she connects with its chest!

The Stranger jumps off of the body and lands toward the laser. It's fairly large, so he doubts he could hit it to his gun, but as a heavy weapon? Maybe he could make use of it. he grabs it at the being that is attacking Gil. if he can get it to fire, he will!

Gil would try to kick off the wall or the Alien's girth or something to flip while holding onto the rotating arm to try and land and stand on the back of this... thing.
